"I've been loyal and faithful. Why is this happening?"
Life often leads us to moments of prayer where we feel an emptiness, a lack of joy or peace, and praying becomes a struggle. In these desolate times, it's easy to believe that the Lord has abandoned us, just as Alex once did.
But it was during a profound moment of adoration that Alex heard God's gentle voice, reassuring him that He had never abandoned him, especially during those moments of desolation.
Our Good Shepherd, unwavering in His love, always guides us back to Him. Regardless of the season of desolation or how far we may feel from Him, He's there, ready to lead us back to the fold. All it takes is our willingness to heed His call and embrace the boundless love and affection that awaits us.
