Always microchip your pets and always keep a collar with contact information on it. Happy the pets were found.

The tracking lets them know where to set the traps, put down the cat food trails, and concentrate the flyers. Those dogs are amazing, and you can't tell me that Hope in particular would have been found through flyers. She was obviously not hanging out where humans would readily see her.

My gosh this episode was indeed an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 i was relieved when every pet was found alive and well. A few years ago, before i moved, my cat went missing. Unfortunately he turned up dead in someone's back yard in the neighborhood development behind where I lived and had been there some time 😓 too long to tell if he had been hit by a car or attacked and got away before expiring. I haven't gotten another cat since and I still think about him & the other cats i have lost in my life. They all had their own wonderful little personalities that I will never forget. 💖💖💖

This is how I feel after losing my most recent heart cat. But I did tell my kid that they would be able to get their own kitten and have full responsibility of cleaning up after it and feeding and watering it. I can no longer Bear to have my own Cat but I will allow the cycle to start over with my child. All children deserve to have the love of a cat And all domestic cats deserve the love of a family and of a special person.

What happened to Bloodhounds or Basset Hounds. Terrific scent dogs. The military uses German Shepherds because they are tough. Their scent ability has been proven to be well below 50% in traffic stops to search for drugs. They are poor trackers.

German Shepherds are one of the best tracking dogs. They have over 225 million scent receptors and can track scent through air as well as land. Only beagles, basset hounds and bloodhounds have more scent receptors.
