Thanks for sharing these videos Maitreyee, they brightened my day :) Can I get your opinion on something? I graduated a year ago with a B.FA degree from SPPU just like you, and I've worked at a couple of good design agencies in India. I specialise in UI UX design, but there are a tonne of things I wanna explore, like designing clothing, making films, collaborating with great folks. I've been freelancing for a while now and I'm thinking of eventually staring my own business. But I often get this feeling of doom, that it'll be a lonely journey, that I'll miss out on the all the experiences that come with working in a great team, that I might not be on the forefront of design and innovation if I go the solo route. I wanna work with and be surrounded by great thinkers but I feel in order to attract those kinda people on my journey I'd need to work a lil longer in the industry, associate myself with good folks and then build some credibility. So rn I'm torn between deciding whether I should continue my path in product design, try to get into rooms with some of the best minds in the industry, build a network and then start my own practice. Or whether I should take the leap and figure things out along the way. I'd appreciate your opinion on this, learning about you gives me hopes that going the independent way might work out well :D
Hey! This seems like a serious topic, we can move this to ADPList mentorship calls, you can book a free call with me there. The slots are closed right now, but I announce them on Instagram
Really a good effort maiteery.....maybe in up-coming videos we can see more upgraded quality. Overall all your narration is really great. Keep working and help us to inspire.
You need a little more time to get comfortable with the nonhuman being, I mean the camera. & need to learn basic camera settings. there are great tutorials out there on youtube on video basics. thanks for sharing your journey.
