A lot of people get joy and happiness confused by thinking the words mean the same thing. However, the Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. Joy cannot come from things, places, circumstances or people. Joy isn't fleeting, but happiness is fleeting because it is temporary. Happiness is a feeling,but joy is a spiritual state that only comes from the Lord. I am hurting as I miss my Godmother who was buried this past Saturday. I wasn't ready for her to go home to be with the Lord, but I know God knows best. However, I miss her terribly in my humanity of emotions!! She was truly a second mom to me and I am grateful for the memories we shared. I need to be there for my Godfather who needs all the love and prayers possible after being married to her for almost 55 years. She was a gift and we will always love her.

Thank you Father for this new day you have gifted me thank you for your grace and mercies daily. Mrs Ginger my deepest condolences to you and your family, Blessings🕊️

Hard to PRACTICALLY overcome sadness, hurts, misunderstandings that leave us inside of loss. We can grasp/understand (to a point) theologically WHY we should NOT be despairing at the moment. But to WALK in it … while hurting inside … takes a royal infusion of the Holy Spirit … to have a calm, peaceful joy DURING times of great loss. At 65, I have countless examples of seasons of loss. I’ve personally told God I’m doing my best as your daughter & I pray You understand WHERE I’M at right now. I’m VERY OPEN to divine intervention and You more than anyone KNOW IT!!! I’m waiting on You. That’s about where I’m at … during my own personal times/seasons of loss. And honestly, it’s over time (for me) that the grief quiets down & I’m no longer welling up daily … or thinking too much over a situation. I eventually submit to the reality of where I’m at & pick up my “cross of scar tissue” and continue on. Joy / peace never leave me. I just tend to allow my hurts to ignore them. Ego is a hard element as humans to ignore. Just. Is. Thank you all today. Always blessed to hear your insights.

I know that I may receive a few push backs with my comments. First I love this ministry, it has seen me through hardtimes, grief, and sorrow 😢...but, today I felt that Joyce was being a little condescending toward one of the ladies😮, especially when the lady stated that her " joy is loud" and Joyce's remarks were the opposite (which was okay) but the tone/deliverance in Joyce's response was not one of understanding or compassion But this just my opinion

When a loved one dies they do not immediately go to heaven not until Christ returns. It says in Corinthians that the dead in Christ shall rise first they'll go to heaven first and then we which are alive if we're still breathing will also go to heaven. If someone dies and immediately goes to heaven then the return of Christ would not even be necessary AND what if someone was having a horrible life and they wanted to go to heaven right away today and they shorten their own life by committing suicide because of not knowing what the accuracy of God's word says. Not a good thing!

As a woman you are not allowed or qualified to teach in the church. 1 Corinthians 14:34,35. for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak or teach in the church. Know the God you are serving. church is not a cafeteria were you chose what you want.
