Yes o, I've seen them do traditional weddings online. But it's the kind where the couple is abroad and the family is in Nigeria so the families meet with the couple's pictures blown up.

Girls; the guys pay full stop. Especially on the first date. There should be no fifty fifty. Also, it's good idea for the girl to ask if the guy if he would like to have her as a companion. Just follow your intuition. Generally speaking, guys are usually more receptive when you talk to them. Worse case scenario as you can imagine, they may say "no" but, it or when they do, they'll do so with love. This is a rather good conversation. You have an absolutely fantastic channel there WhizQueen. Keep it up.

As a single lady in this country, you have to be deliberate in your dating life. That is one thing i know. It's not like Naija that you can be sitting minding your business and a guy walks up to you and asks you out. It's not really like that here. People are really private and they like to respect another person's privacy. So if you are a lady in this position, in Canada, you would need to not just pray but go out on social events. You need to be open and deliberate about such things. If you can't, jejely go back to Naija for an extended holiday aka potential husband search'. Kidding but you kinda get my drift
