So very sorry you had an MI, but glad to see you are doing ok. I am a retired R.N and since The Villages do not accept my Federal Blue Cross I get my Primary Care at Premier Healthcare Associates and see Dr. Seemab Malik at this practice near Lake Sumter Landing.. My last 21 years of nursing was working in primary care and I like how this primary care practice runs and I find Dr. Malik top shelf with regards to her internal medical expertise. Internists are the captain of a patient's healthcare ship, and you are best with starting with getting a good internist and they will refer you to a cardiologist who they work well with in coordinating their mutual patient's care. My husband does get his care through The Villages healthcare system as he has an advantage plan that they accept, and he is very happy with their care as well. Wish you well on your road to recovery, and don't let this get you down.

At one point early on there where a lot of Manufactured homes in the villages, but as time passed more and more stick built homes came on line. The Villages continues to grow with no end in sight.

Hi Gary. Sorry to hear of your heart attack. I've had two heart surgeries,(no heart attacks). I was born with issues caught later in life. All I can say is see your doctors on a regular schedule, and follow their direction. Because at our age you can't take chances. My story is too long to type. All I can say, I'm here saying TAKE IT EASY. Maybe someday We'll talk war stories. The doctor situation is keeping me from moving there, ( the Villages). I'll close for now. You stay healthy.

Gary, glad you are doing okay and were able to have good care. Heart attacks can be scary! (I went to the ER last week thinking I was having a heart attack myself, it was a false alarm as I had just started a brand new medication) take care and follow those doctors orders!

I'm late in watching this video, but I'm very sorry to hear about your heart attack. I had one in 2016 (at age 59) and I also have two stents. It's a wake-up call for sure and I hope you find a good doctor in or around The Villages. I'm not too far from NYC so we have doctors all over the place! Take care.

Levy County in The Nature Coast just North of The Villages is very inexpensive homes and Properties with very low taxes. 25 miles southwest of Gaines. 25 miles N.E.of Cedar Key on the Gulf of Mexico. Has many Natural springs and Historic Swannee River. I have property here and have been familiar with this area for over 20 year's. N.Central Florida Secret. I have friends in Ocala as well and most would never live in The Villiages. Levy County is wide open. Horses, Peanut and Watermellons.

Best medical in FL. is in Gainesville a little ride but worth it.
