THANK YOU so much for making the distinction between "lack of motivation" and being exhausted and your body letting you know that in every way possible. I was sick with the flu this week and had to fight against feeling guilty for taking off time while I'm in my data analysis stage. What I really needed was REST and to be honest, I needed that even before I got sick. It's so important that we be kind to ourselves and listen to our body & spirit.

Thank you for being sooo patient with me!!!! I have been a little bogged down this week. I want to thank you for such a Kind and thoughtful comment. Sooo many people try to force themselves to ignore how they feel or work through things so I am so happy that you found this video useful but even more happy that you were able to he gentle with yourself! I really appreciate you sharing your experience and also also I am SUPER THANKFUL that you have supported the Future PhD shop too!!! I really appreciate your support you have no idea how much you mean to me!!!!

Thank you for this video! I definitely needed this as I'm sure most of us grad students go through the same. I've learned to get as much done during those "good days" when I feel motivated and do nothing when I really don't feel like working on my research.

I'm glad I'm not alone! It always feels good to know others are like you. Ithink as grad students we are kind of pressured to put ourselves second... but that's not sustainable. Lol thank you so much for your comment!!! I appreciate you

Brisa thanks for another great video, I agreed with everything you said. Seeing you work hard on your education goals inspires me to work harder on mine. That's cool that you study to your own study videos L🤣L.

@@BrisaMarie Of course. You deserve it. Right now I love listening to study videos while I read peer review article for class. My Mom makes great study & tech information videos that my friends and I listen to on a loop while we study. Here is a sample of a great one I think you will like🙂: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OHcgrk18s_I.html

Hahaha that's okay! There is space for emotionally dysregulated graduate students too!!! And I feel like especially by the time a person does grad school after all their years of school before it is only NATURAL to be ready for it to end lol lol I love it when you comment!!! I appreciate you!!
