This was supposed to actually be published tomorrow but I guess because I had to reupload the video file when I reloaded the upload page, it reset and made it go out today.
nice video as always, is it possible if you can make a short video marking the screw of the wrm v9 uv so that I can set my cube that way. i happen to mess the tensions of mine and I don't know how to make it even. Thanks
@@dan_cube I don't think I'll be able to since it's really difficult with this dual adjustment system to make it fully even. The only thing I recommend is when adjusting the tensions, pull the cube apart by the edges and adjust accordingly until they look even. My cube is set to where some of the sides are slightly looser than the others, but not enough to affect performance that much.
If the last comp you went to was UCSD winter 2024, I was there! It was my first comp. I acutally found your channel after and recognized you from the comp.
I have a flagship v3, though I don’t really use it anymore after getting adhesive into it trying to glue the UV coated tv3 pioneer’s center caps when I tried to swap the pioneer’s caps to the flagship’s.
I main the v9 because it is smooth fast and overall really good but the out of the box experience wasn't that good as it was too fast so I set it up and I performed really well. BTW I like your vids.
You must realise that you're using the best cubes in the world and no amount of crying that it's the cubes fault is going to make you better? "A bad workman always blames his tools!" The personal choice of cube and cube settings is going to make a difference of (at the very most) half a second but more probably a quarter of a second. But you seem to blame your cubes for every bad solve and the reason why you're not sub-10. Here's a tip and a really good piece of advice, if you take it you may really improve your avg: When you have a bad run of solves, look at what YOU are doing wrong and not what might be wrong about the cube. I guarantee until you stop blaming your cubes for your mistakes you will NEVER have a sub 10 avg and you WILL only get worse!
Hello, thanks for the video. Do you plan to review the new Haitun waverider cube? It has some good reviews so far and I think you'll enjoy it! Awesome content, keep it up.
Nice! Exactly the same main and backup that I have, except I put a custom 20-magnet ball core into the V9. They're both really great cubes. Getting an 11M Pro and TV3 flagship tmrw though so who knows, might change
@@TheSpeedyJay1 Went well! Disassembling the core was hard, needed a knife, but once it comes off there are small indentations perfect for applying 8 of the 12 magnets. Last 4 were more difficult because you have to glue them half onto the lip of the hemisphere, but none of them popped off when reassembling the core, and I glued it shut to avoid future breaking. Works really well, much stabler, smh wasn't crazy aligning either, which I feared. 10/10 would recommend if you have the 12 magnets and a tad of patience
