I have a 2 year old daughter named Haven and she is my greatest blessing :) My only advice is to do what YOU two think is best for your child because every child is different. Also, relax, don't stress, and enjoy your pregnancy! I hope your first term is going well. Morning sickness is no joke. I’m also as far along as you. I’m about 12 weeks , due May 2021! First baby as well 😭😭😭 hope you’re having a way better first trimester than I am. Huge tip for y'all is to stay positive through the experience of pregnancy, no matter what obstacles you face staying as calm and collected through it is important for health of baby. Congratulations!!!! Being a mom is best privilege in the world!!! I have 2 boys 1&3!! Get as much sleep as you can!!! No matter how prepared you think you you are not!!! They are so great!!! That first moment when you see your baby for the first time is literally the best feeling in the world!! There’s nothing like it!!!!
Honestly, I have a 15 months old little boy, he is the most precious person ever! The best advice I can give you both, is hold him/her whenever and how ever long you want to. Because they grow up so fast and become less cuddly. Just please enjoy him/her and hold them. Be selfish. You can NEVER spoil a baby too much with love and cuddles. Congratulations momma and dadda!❤️🎉 It’s the most rewarding thing you’ll ever experience and be apart of. Just enjoy it!😭❤️
As a mom of a three year old I think my one tip is to not freak out and that you are doing okay. Don't let other parents make you feel inadequate in what you are doing for you or your baby. Also check up on each other sometimes. I had a difficult labor but I also was pretty down and it help having a partner acknowledge and understand you're going through a change and help along the way. My brother is about a year old and the best thing we did with him was teach him his baby signs. I promise it helps so much. It makes communication much easier and he throws less fits than babies who don’t know their signs. (From who I have met) So happy for you both! Can’t wait to see more baby content!
So excited for you. My oldest is turning 22 tomorrow and this has me in all my feels! Advice.... sleep when the baby sleeps everything else come naturally. And as they grow up talk to them, be there for them, be involved, have fun with them, get to know them and their interests even if they aren't what you would of chosen. Its makes for an amazing bond.

Best advice.....Everyone will give you “their” opinion, listen but ultimately you know (will know) what YOUR baby needs...follow your gut, your instincts are spot on 90% of the time.
