I've had the same issue in Asda apart from I didn't want the scratch card. My mum was buying a roller and they refused to give it her because I was stood next to her, it's ridiculous😂

I've worked in retail for 2 years and unfortunately it's the management that make you id, I was working in one shop for a year and everytime some parent come to the till with alcohol and there teenage child was with them we had to id the child aswell,it's not the shop assistant...well that's where I worked...if i didn't id then my job would be on the line unfortunately

I find if you put your hands through your hair constantly or touch it the oil off your hands transfers to your hair so thats what makes it greasy ❤️

My other half used to work for Asda, they use a system called ‘Challenge 25’; you might be legal to buy the stuff but if you look under 25 they have to legally check because some older people look young and sane the other way around. It happened to me at the weekend when I tried to buy a lottery ticket, I could get it because the person I was with didn’t have ID 🙄 it’s crazy

OMG I have the exact same thing with my eyes. I just found out i was practically blind in my right eye and just got glasses. They said that could be why I'm getting so many dizzy headaches.

I have the exact same problem with my eyes as u and I’ve had to wear glasses constantly for 8 years and then in September they said my eye site isn’t gonna get any better or worse so I only have to wear them when I’m concentrating and watching TV

Something similar happened to me and my older brother in tesco. He's 20 and was buying some Bucks Fizz for our Christmas party (for the adults) and they asked me for ID and I'm 15 so I didn't have ID and they wouldn't let my brother buy it because they assumed it was for me! It's ridiculous.

A similar thing happened to me with but when I was buying paracetamol at Morrison’s! I’m 17 too and the assistant refused to let me have it and was saying that I clearly don’t look 25. Like a scratch card you only have to be 16! I think it might be a thing with big supermarkets doing it. The assistant was very rude to me too and wasn’t very understanding either. And the paracetamol wasn’t even for me it was for my mum and I was picking it up for her on the way back from sixth form🙃🙃

Kate Jones unfortunately it's the law to ask for id for age related sale products for things like alcohol cigarettes and medication. Even if it's over a 12 if you look under 25 the assistant still has to ask for id.
