@@drobgyn5615 Vegas pays a premium to get it shipped directly so it's pretty big money. Commercial fishing is a huge industry in Alaska so there's lots of opportunity. It's common to see people from out of State come up for seasonal work and go home with crazy money. A lot of people make a living just doing that every year.
Turns out there is an authentic fish and chip shop in one of the towns near Vegas that is owned and run by a gentleman from Sheffield UK using a proper chip range cooker (think it was imported)
“This is fantastic,” says Joe 57 times about Ramsay’s fish ’n’ … fries, and Harry is never going to be convinced. (If you’re not British, Harry’s extremely polite responses are coming across like furious disagreement about the level of ‘good’ of that place.)
@@Vanda-il9ul I was born in (and have nearly always lived in) the UK and Harry's responses went over my head a bit too. Sometime we don't get our own nuances
THe bridge is Pont des Arts, it's not an old tradition, only starting around 2008, the weight of the locks (45 tons!) almost caused the bridge to collapse so the pannels have all been replaced. Plus the tradition of throwing the keys into the Seine was causing environmental damage. Another great video btw.
Keep in mind it will be much louder and busier without the private room they're in, you can very much hear the noise of other people while they're dining and they're not even close to the other people.
Another brilliant episode. Whether its a crap bendy burger at a Wimpys in London or caviar and beef Wellington in Vegas, these two make me smile and hungry at the same time. Great job every time.
The "love lock" bridge in Paris was the Pont des Arts. I say was because in 2015 dozens of tons of locks were cut off and disposed of because the bridge was overloaded and likely to be damaged. Since, glass panels prevent access to the ironwork so locks can no longer be attached there.
You know it's funny people get mad when others use ketchup on steak, but steak sauce and ketchup have most of the same ingredients so it's just a little sweeter steak sauce
The thing about Vegas sports bars is that it's mainly American sports (obviously). We've been to Vegas a few times, some of those trips coincided with major sports events like the Rugby World Cup and the Six Nations. Think we could watch any game in a sportsbook, sports bar, or anywhere near the strip? Nope. Not a chance. We had to find an Irish pub a bit off the strip to get a chance of watching games from some of the the biggest global sports events.
Harry has no idea on how you make sticky toffee pudding, it’s not steamed it’s not a dough . It’s a cake mix with dates that are soaked in hot water and bicarbonate of soda then blended and added to the cake mix and baked , then a caramel cream sauce added on top .
