Red Mango the OG!! I hope they ordered the plain froyo and had the toppings and sauces on the side instead so it'll be easier to differentiate the taste.
i think the best way to do this is to buy in different brands with the same size and if possible, same flavors and toppings, and in that way, that's the very accurate way to compare these four, because they are all good on their own.
Frozen yogurt was popular back in 2009-2010. I was in my freshman year in uni so I was a bit aware of the trends esp in Manila :)) Once bought this frozen yogurt and ended up paying more than a hundred pesos due to its weight and toppings (which is expensive for a college girl like me then). All for trying I guess. 😅 I like BLK 513 and llao llao.
I like Koomi. It has this milk powder taste that I find pleasant. I usually get the Australian blend. Also cheaper and more available here in my province.
I’m such a froyo girlie and I was thriving during the peak of froyos here. My go-to places were White Hat and Red Mango. Now my go-to for very very affordable froyo is Yowell 👌🏼
As a froyo OG fan since the early 2010s, I super agree that pinkberry is the best imo. I can really taste the sourness of the yogurt unlike the likes of Koomi and BLK. Also love white hat, however it seemed to have less branches nowadays (or went bankrupt due to the pandemic). 😢
I tried both LlaoLlao and Koomi. And I agree with Jessica's review. Llaollao's flavor is too strong for me. I feel like Jessica and I have quite similar preference in taste of foods - we like natural and subtle flavor.
koomi has two types of blend, a filipino and australian one and mas sour talaga yung australian. my girlfriend who is alta prefers llaollao (although di niya pa natikman pinkberry) bc it tastes like organic fresh yogurt the most--if u wanted sweet iced cream then why not literally get ice cream :>
I think mejo unfair lang kasi knowing Jessica prefer fresh toppings meron din naman sa other 3 yun eh. Dapat next time same toppings. Ako personally I like Nutella sa toppings plus kiwi or mango as toppings kahit anong froyo store...
Koomi is my favorite! Because it's a bit sour. Pink Berry is way too sweet for me, although that was my first experience of FroYo. Pink Berry now tastes like almost like sugar for me. I think Jessica got the Filipino variant, instead of the Australian one, which is why it has less of the yogurt taste.

Ate I wanna recommend the YoWell in Alabang Town Center or I think it has a branch in Las piñas but in YoWell you can costumize your own yogurt ice cream and you're the one who's gonna make your own and you can add how much topping you want and its only Php30 PER 100 GRAMS.... yun lang masarap kasi ehhh..❤❤❤
Just tried BLK For the first time after watching Inside Out 2 and I kinda agree, The Charcoal yogurt is definitely sweet and I chose the sauce, Banana Milk and it combines more sweetness as well and it's totally viral indeed
For me it's Yowell (its cheap and you can enjoy more yogurt and add ons plus they have the toppings that I like. Only down side they have limited branches) 😊 Pink Berry Ilao Ilao Koomi BLK (its not it, tried it earlier also not a fan of black colored yogurt)
Jessica, try the avocadoria ice cream. I know its not yogurt related but try it. Its very namit. I dont know lang if meron sa Luzon, but here in Bacolod daming branch. I really love their ice cream. "Best Ice Cream" naman po hehe
Nung umuwi kami pinas last month super kain tlaga ako ng froyo, even nung HS pa ako preferred ko tlaga froyo than ice cream kasi matamis, nung 2018 tanda ko sa ATC bumili kami ng llao llao kya nagulat ako nung prang nagboom sya na prang bago sya e dati pa naman un. Dto sa canada, at least city namin ang tatamis ng froyo 🥲
Idk if naalala niyo pa but FroYo in WhiteHat is the best for me. Kuhang kuha nila yung kiliti ko sa froyo. Tho yung branch na sa BGC (inside the fullybooked) ay nagsara na noong pandemic :(
i only tried llao llao once. they said it's an ice cream. my officemate forced me to buy it with her recently. it's too sour for my taste and liking. i'd like it a bit sweeter TuT during that time, i knew that i will never buy it again, haha. i just thanked the toppings for saving my taste buds, somehow. 😆

Try Red Mango and White Hat. I didn't like BLK, it taste like ice cream not yogurt. Llao Llao's flavor among the 4 is what I like. But overall Red Mango is the best for me.
I was traumatized when I tried my first frozen yogurt from a known fast food resto... After that, I never tried any frozen yogurt even in other brands... especially after seeing the prices... lol...
Where's Red Mango and White Hat😅 the OGs in MNL Hehe. I love pinkberry too but Red Mango and BLK513 are my faves due to the green tea and charcoal flavored yogurts
When llaollao started it was usually empty didnt get the buzz howd it became popular out of nowhere😅 tried it before when it was jst starting same as you didnt like it much but there was no was biscoff then maybe thats whats causing the hype now 🤔

Nice vid. But there's still room for improvement. For example, getting the same flavors and sizes for all the items would be better and ensure a more fair review. Also, you mention Koomi was very watered down and has crushed ice. That would be why the price was slightly lower. If you factor everything else, it would seem that you get lower value because of the fillers and extenders. After all, frozen yogurt is the one you want.
Personally love Red Mango. Haven't tried Pinkberry. Will do so when I have the chance. :) Koomi's froyo is really the bland, sour kind. But my favorite talaga is Koomi's Will Ube Mine. Tho this is a yogurt drink naman kase. Haha.
Namamahalan ako masyado sa pinkberry. Para ka na bumili ng 1.4L na selecta icecream, small size lang yan. Mas mura pa rin sa llao llao, yan kasing tinry mo, customized kasi yan, pero kung small size tas 3 toppings na around 200 lang yan.

I also don't like llaollao may aftertaste cya na cheese for me. Pinkberry is sweet. Blk is less sweet. Like ko din taste ng koomi pero di cya ganun kasmooth. Ok din red mango pero wala dito
I’ve tried all except Pinkberry but for the Koomi I have only tried their drinks, fun fact coincidentally I was planning to buy a Froyo from Koomi earlier but it was not available. Btw, Ilao Ilao is my favorite Froyo so far.
Making a yogurt review and forgot to add RED MANGO. 😭👏🏻 My favorite Red Mango. ❤️ seriously, Pink Berry is expensive for such a small container. BLK is so cheap for that pint size container. They have a regular one for only 220 and contains 5 toppings. The cheapest ever out of all those. KOOMI gave us diarrhea and sent my sister ti the hospital. Lol. Also taste so bland and no interesting toppings. Will never eat at Koomi again. 😆
I recommend The House of Yogurt in Baguio and it is my fave and go to place to buy yogurt. Their yogurt is homemade and you can choose from the different kinds of toppings that compliments their yogurt really well. ❤
Brings me back in my college days, back in 2010 there's this frozen yogurt called Frutti Froyo where you can customize/pick the toppings on your own then they'll weight it at the end that's our go to, but frozen yogurt wasn't a trend back then so they closed down not sure if it still exists somewhere 😭

I have eaten any other yogurt aside from fruity froyo which I think is closed permanently already and red mango. I will try those 4 maybe not the BLK its just too expensive
blk is actually for diet conscious people since when u order it, it stated there the kcal of each toppings. yes im blk apologist whahahahaha edit: that 380 pesos was because of the size. its the biggest size and to-go
