This was a great video. I did not know about the Ayoon slides. They no longer only market them to women. Did adidas heed your advice? I’m ordering the Ayoon pair for the Missus. She thinks we have way too many Adilettes, but I think it’s important to have pairs for different use cases - Like… outside slides are outside only. She prefers the Duramo slides because they are one piece moulds and made from what was Cloudfoam - It’s the OG of YZY slides. I prefer the Hu BOOST Chancletas for the memory foam strap. ✌🏽💙👟
Id like to see someone review all of the slides under $25 Many people dont like spending over $30 on these type shoes. Ud rather have three beater pairs
I have the Aqua, Shower, Comfort (no more) and Boost. Aqua - is a tank. Have them for over 4 years now. Super durable. I use them for shower, garden work and everything in between. Easy to rinse and clean. Comfy enough. Shower - probably my favorite. Lightest from all, love the look and comfort. Also easy to rinse, drying fast. I prefer the slides without cloth materials as I constantly make them wet. Comfort - was a disaster to be honest. They wasn’t stable. If made wet it took ages for them to dry. Didn’t liked the longer “nose” ( the front part of the sole, after the strap). One time got under the tropical rain while wearing them, they became a bit smelly after. And most important,- after wearing them for a few months the soft part of the soles turned in to a bread like substance and quickly started to crumble. I had to throw them away. Will never buy Comfort model again. Boost - probably most comfortable pair i have. Love the looks. Not so versatile like Aqua or Shower, as the strap has cloth on the inside (have to go easy on rinsing them). Still love this pair. Looking to buy 22’s .
Honestly you're tripping on the comfort slides, I have some of the best slides and those are up their which is pretty damn good considering their price. Only thing I agree with is they stay wet which sucks. Also looking to try the adillette 22
Great video man!!! I always go to the Adidas Shower Slides and I've seen there's missed alot in most of the slides videos I've seen. They're a step up from the Aqua slides with step-in cloudfoam. It isn't the most comfortable but it gets alot better with use, it feels like they adjust to your feet and they such a great arch support. On my second pair and I absolutely love them.
I know this an Adidas Slides review, but nothing compares to OOFOS recovery slides. Hands down the most comfortable. As a marathon runner, nothing caresses my feet like OOFOS 👣.
hey thanks so much! question? i like having an arch in my slides ive used the Hoka 1st edition any other recommendations I would sincerely appreciate it. Happy New Year!
Comfort Slides blew my mind. Had to buy more pairs for family. It was like the first time trying Boost all over again. Addicted! Which are the squishiest like the Comfort slides?
Soccer guy. Been wearing adilette made in Italy since 1992. They're the true OG (see Ray Liotta, Goodfellas prison scene). Changed a bit recently (longer break in time & different textile lining), but still my fave.
The AC8412 (a Comfort model, I think) is my favorite by far. It is not just the soft footbed, but also the soft and flexible upper strap that has a tiny bit of cushioning between the outer layer and a fabric liner. Any kind of slide with a firm upper that cuts into my feet is a no go.
boost slides are goated once they break in, best slides IMO. yeezy slides are softer but too soft for me, the way my feet sink in after a while hurts too much so i don't even wear them. same with the cloudfoam comfort slides
As someone that rocked the adilette comfort slides for a while, I can say that the adicane is definitely more firm, but it gets better with time. So adicane sleek looking and they get comfier with more wear and they hold up better with time. A adilette comfort slide may look beat over time but the adicane gets comfier and is more durable.
I found the alpha bounce too rigid for me. While Not terrible the adilette boost were a let down in terms of softness. Haven't tried all of these, but the best in my opinion are the 22s where its just soft enough with good support
The made in italy doesnt mean made in italy as an Italian its actually made in china town italy where there mostly slaving and are imported from china directly amd they stamp made in italy
