Finding the Fun in Fallout 76

7600 hr is equivalent to ~316 days straight of nonstop playing. If someone decided to play for 8hrs a day like a real job, it would be 950 days of 8hr shifts.

Kevduit is like that one fallout player that completes the game, but trys to find the enjoyment in the game.

'this is one of the most messed up things I've done' precedes to lure people to his camp to make them wanted and kill them with nukes. I survived multiple nukes cause of my build hence why he had to shoot us. I was the one in the brasshelmt with the broom heads ontop at 12:55. I had so much fun helping with this. I also helped with the exam and I loved how there were people fighting in the background for a good amount of the exam which forced kev to goto a private server... and when I say fighting they were arguing over wether the power armor user was cheating as he had so much damage reduction. During the smores part we all tried to help Kev find the ingredients only to have kev give away too many smores and force him to make more man the server lost it, too bad he didn't put that in the vid Thanks for letting us help kev it was alot of fun, its just too bad the whole thing drained your soul...

Still. Waiting. For. Modded. Servers. Actual RP servers, modded maps (like The Commonwealth and Mojave Desert), appearel and stuff would make maaaaaany people flock to this game. But I'm waiting for almost 4 years now, I doubt that will ever happen...

the insane thing to me is that you know that the fucking stream took MANY hours and all he got from all of those challenges was basically the equivalent of $5.20. Honestly, i just with they'd bring back the atom rewards for daily quests, the seasons themselves are cool for giving, what, like, 15 bucks? but you could make like, a good extra 5-10 or so a week from challenges.

The "Build 7600 Structures" was surprisingly simple because it actually means "build 7600 walls, floors or roofs".

When it comes to challenges, i am proud to say that the feeling of completeing every challenge feels like bliss

These videos hurt my soul now. I found Kev through Fallout 76. But my account got hit by one of those backdoor hackers a while back and they took all my shit and deleted my chars. I ended up getting my account back under control but the damage was done and Bethesda refused to do anything about restoring my account. Sigh I cant even watch these now.

I'm lucky, I met a endgame player who has been helping me with the game, the best part of this game definitely is the fun you have with friends.

Even just running around playing with friends is what I find fun about the game. Yeah the story isn’t the best but hoping into discord and just talking to people hours on end doing events is something I enjoy about the game

The biggest challenge is getting that far without getting annoyed at the stash limit.

After watching ur vids I decided to play 76 and I’m actually really enjoying it.

I have said this elsewhere -- but I think when FO76 reaches end of life, there should be an event where the Enclave or Zetans or (other) get control of the nukes and totally destroy Appalachia. Players can log in one last time to see it all turn to ash in nuclear fire. That would fix any canonical errors and be a very Fallout ending to the game. The players could try to help or hinder the nuking force which would then have a slideshow for the choices they made (Maybe Knight Shin survives because you kicked him out of Appalachia), Maybe because you released Crane, he spreads the Scorch Plague elsewhere, etc.).

This man is the one that made me buy fallout 76 on my pc and restart since you cant transfer data over and I love you

Got to be honest I have just now got back into 76 since it was released. I have had more fun in this game than I ever had. Starting new and playing with a friend or two has been a blast. I do know that one day like you it will end but right now I am definitely enjoying the ride.

There is fun along the way, although, it's limited, as I'm usually on my own. Sometimes I'll join a group, or join by a random person I met. I've been in a group that killed the Scorchbeast Queen.

Fun for me was with the team. Me and three friends. We were in the Beta. We beat the quests, the We had pets. We built a town with our camps. The scout shit. Then they left. Yesterday I killed a level ten and bullied him for fun. I ate him alive.

i have tons of fun just goofing around. i have a few good buddies i see daily. we do boss fights and regular stuff. we also have a lot of fun tampering with our stats and finding new ways to whupp asses. i hoard tons of weapons. i'm after those rare outfits. i trade legacys. i cheat a little. build glitch camps. i have several characters and play on 2 ps4s at once. this adds quite a bit of fun as well. i have a bunch of different builds. haven't messed with junkie yet but pretty much everything else including "bloodzerker." the funnest part of all is meeting cool new players (some are NOT cool) and helping them on their way. i just figured out the "attack camp" today. this is super silly with 2 ps4s. there's a lot of haters and "whateverers" out there, but i love 76.

Two of the hardest challenges to do are revive players in water and use 3 stimpack diffusers as the plan is a very rare reward in the pharma event

The game is fun, getting new stuff, leveling up and going different builds/creating characters, doing quests with friends, building cool and creative things, modding and building new armor and weapons and such. This game offers a lot. Those who bitch played it years ago and experienced some bad/buggy stuff and never came back to it. I started in November and it's been great, I wish I would've played it a long time ago and got cool halloween stuff and finished the unstoppable scoreboard. Pick it up and give it a try on gamepass, I recommend it if you like building/being creative/and working to get new stuff.

FO76 is the best Fallout-themed theme park anyone has done short of those occasional LARP/paintball parks that feel more authentic

Im Level 33 and i love the game a lot of friendly Players helped me by giving me stimpacks while i was Level 8 or something and that was a great start and i got like 20-30 legendary weapons from some Players and every time i play i find new weapons mods or something my point is im having a lot of fun in this game and thats not going to change in the near future

The fun is basically just grinding trying to get the lowest TTK weapon possible and amassing other god rolls and collecting shit. Then once you have a godroll weapon for every situation, getting one of those cheated bloodied explosive Gatling plasma which everyone seems to have.

I build Diners and Bars along major routes just to sell food and drink. Buisness is kinda slow but it's fun to me at least

well. i enjoyed it , i am still playing with my friend , roaming around the wasteland and going wherever looks more interesting . went into a cave , fought some chinese with levels wayy higher than ours and went with a digging machine in a place where an assaulttron killed us both . i like the game for its randomness .my game crashed once and my friend , very radiated and with no ammo or healing items got ambushed by cannibals , it was a race of time , who could get to him first , the cannibals , me or the cannibals.. well lets say i was late.

Some say he is still looking for the fun to this very day

I am a 42 fan of fallout serie, i played 3, new vegas, 4 and 76. I will always love fallout4, still playing when new mods arrive... I got "the looting problem": i love looting, camp building, collectin... So even if 76 is not the best (need more more solo quests, NPC stories, enclave, vaults visitin...), I must admit I have Lot of fun with this game in PC, and without 1st pass :D

7600 hours boils down to about 316 full days. How would anyone realistically achieve that?

I've been recently playing Fallout 76 with a friend, and needless to say the game is pretty fun. Originally I wasn't super thrilled, as the premise of endlessly shooting and grinding, massive hoarding and eventually inflation, and okayish quest, wasn't ideal. But it's an experience for sure. Granted the content seems to be kind of steady and isnt extremely dynamic in comparison to other MMOs, but it is still very fun. To me it was like, Minecraft + CoD Zombies and a good dab of L4D. I wish some aspects were built more on, like the disease and foods were more punishable, but early game has been pretty fun and grueling. I fought my first lvl 50 2* deathclaw by myself for the first time, nearly dying at lvl 21. Used like 10 stimpaks haha! But it was fun.
