brings back memories , i had just bought my old van 3 yrs ago and a guy had recommended magnums, a 2 hour drive but well worth it , i was over £600 lighter when i came out but the advice was free and priceless , i saved so much time buying the bulk from there and then i could add to it as needed , great video ,, gadget johns wet dream corner eh -)
Wow never knew about Magnum just across the bridge. I've used Bell n Higgins for yonks just like my dad has done. Great places cheers Dave. So many things I want to get, so a priority list needs compiling before I go there :)

Cheers for that dave, we are currently looking at a panel van and doing it ourselves, but totally novice in this field and find it very daunting, so vids like this are a big help and confidence booster, 😊👍

Magnums is great, I was in there last Wednesday buying bits for my next customers van conversion. I didn’t realise you were in east Yorks, I run a small conversion company near Selby if you’re ever passing you’re welcome to call in kettle is always on!!

If you are thinking of visiting Magnum's, there is also Oleary's Motorhomes in Woodmansey just outside Beverley, not as well laid out, but a good supplier nevertheless & not million miles away from Grimsby. Also, it is sandwiched between 2 excellent garden centers worth a visit if you want to make a day of it.
I’m so lucky, magnums is only a mile away from us. We’ve dealt with them for years. Brilliant staff really helpful. If you live “away” why not come to cleethorpes for a couple of days and visit magnum whilst your here.

When people are insulating there vans it can be very expensive something a lot of people don’t realise , I used to do extensions and loft conversions conversions and over the years I have found a company on Ebay the name of the company is insulation seconds I will look for a link for them as they are the cheapest in the country and it makes no difference we’re you are in the UK they deliver all over the UK
I’m going to end up with a full notebook of ideas and a shopping list for parts before April at the rate I’m going! ~ 7th May is my drivers licence deadline! 😄🚐⛰🤞🏻

Magnum is super pricey though, just registered and put in the items I require (about 6K worth) in their build list and it came to a full £800 more than competitors prices for the same equipment, I'm sure they would come down but the competitors are selling the same stuff £800 cheaper before I even begin to haggle. I'm not even going to phone them.

Aha, I wondered what Magnums were like as I've bought a few bits online from them. I wish they were closer to me. My nearest company is Rainbow Conversions in Wisbech. They only have a small reception and not much on display, but when I bought a folding step, they didn't mind me taking it outside to measure up against my van. www.rainbow-conversions.co.uk/

@@onemanandhiswhippet Just bought a Boxer XLWB to convert, we're stuck in London but me dad lives just outside Selby... I think an actual physical trip to Magnum is on the cards.. (may pop in on me dad swell :-) )
@@onemanandhiswhippet Ha! saw that but didn't realise it was Selby. On a separate note thanks for the content, I have 2 dogs (both rescue), a love for outdoors and a lot of what you video resonates, we kayak, mountain bike and enjoy the outside and this year we've bought a van to convert! :-)
