What I find kind of odd about this is that they are all super skinny. Not everyone is skinny and these kind of dresses would make some girls look bigger than they already are. Not to mention some girls actually have boobs to deal with.
Lia Wilder yes I absolutely hate my boobs I wish I was flat chested cause my first 7th and 8th grade dance is in May, it’s hard finding dresses that I like, that fit in general and my chest then that go well with my height Cause I’m a 5,3 7th grader.
I think they think Walmart dresses are perfect for teenage girls going to high school. All the dresses were HORRIBLE and I’d never wear any of them for my graduation

When I graduate eighth grade, I’m wearing a short lacy grey dress, along with fully white converse. Along with pearl earrings and a pearl choker. My nails will be fake, since I bite them. And a very natural makeup look with a nude lip. I’m deciding on my hair, but I’m thinking of space buns. Which I think will be adorable. But that’s it!!
This is making me so angry "You don't have to go to a kid's store, just shop in the small section of ladies" Did they forget there are plus size girls? Not even plus sized, just average and not super skinny! I'm literally about to throw my phone!!!!
These girls are so thin and tiny, but the girls in grade 8 at least in my school are curvy and we have breasts and hips and dresses like this do not compliment that kind of figure... didn't help me pick a dress at all

Why do they think that us 8th graders are kiddish. Do they think we are graduating from kindergarten? 😐😐😐 I’m graduating 8th grade this year and I’m for sure not going to wear this or anything like this.

Why are all the models so thin I’m in grade 8 (well was I’m going to 9th) and I have DD cups and I’m thick. All of the models were extremely thin. This just goes to show that beauty standards are applied at a young age. Imagine how people with my body type feel seeing that all of the models here wore around an extra small. I thought the fashion industry was supposed to give women empowerment. I didn’t even see one person who was of a different race or wasn’t white. The modeling industry is horrible and this just shows that in life standards don’t always apply and people should strive more towards an industry with more women of color and women with different proportions.
