Over 60 here, plus size, found a great rayon tee (keeps me cooler) through Lands End. Opaque and not clingy (hate clingy), scoop neck, cap sleeves, plus has a rounded hem (flattering when you're hip-py). Also have it in black and other fun colors. That's all I wear in the summer.

Lori, I'm a fairly new subscriber and can I just say you blew me away when you mentioned your age? I didn't put you at more than 40! Like you, I found a great white t-shirt at Old Navy, which I'm wearing as a layering piece right now, in cooler weather. I don't have a problem with see-through issues as I always wear a nude bra. The important factors for me are neckline and length of sleeves. I prefer a crewneck because I have a long neck, and the sleeves need to be at least to bust level, to cover my upper arms (I'm 67). As a fellow Texan, I've been enjoying your channel and look forward to future ones, especially those addressing dressing well in extreme heat!

It has (sadly) worn out, but my favorite white T was one by Brooks Brothers. It was a little pricy, but it wore and washed well, fit well, and was cotton rich. Makes me want to go back and see if their current crop of T's are that good. Great video...the hunt continues.

Lori, if you think that was a challenge, try a hunt for a plus size (24) v-neck t-shirt that isn't see through! I gave up on white as it's not my best color anyway so looked for off-white or ecru and am still on the hunt. This video is an excellent reference for anyone shopping for inexpensive basics so thanks!

I don't think that the perfect white t-shirt exists but when I am out shopping for anything else and I run across a white t-shirt I check it out and sometimes purchase one. My favorites are from H&M and JC Penney/ St. Johns Bay. I also have one from Nordstrom but it's a tad oversized and not worn as often. BTW, love your earrings! I just bought a pair!

I loved when Walmart sold White Stag brand…those tee shirts rock…still looking for the brand. I think i wanna try sewing my own clothes, so they fit me perfectly.
