Thanks Steve. I really enjoy and appreciate your helpful videos. I purchased a OMTech 70 watt laser about a year ago, and have learned a lot, but want to engrave metal and cut 1/8-1/4 Baltic birch more cleanly. This machine seems just what I need. For safety and smoke control I plan to store and use it on the floor of the OMTech!
Diode lasers are mostly limited to things like stainless steel. If you want to do aluminium or brass, etc you will need to coat it first. I use my SP-3624 Laser as a vacuum chamber for these smaller laser too
