Hi Markus, I would love to see some more details about the wheel money management. You always say that you can double your yearly PnL when using a margin account (e.g. tastyworks). But does this mean that you always use all of your margin-based buying power or what is your management behind this? Would be great if you could do a video for this. Thanks and have a nice weekend.
Hello Markus, thank you a lot for your great videos. I appreciate your honesty especially on your „dead soldiers“. My question; why don’t you roll (out and down) for a positive cash with this loosing positions before they get assigned? In my opinion it gives you more flexibility, you can lower your strike price, get a bit more premium and if you need a rescue mission you can add some more puts and lower the strike even more. The same could be done with the short calls after assignment. Perhaps an idea for a video or and adaptation of the „pure“ wheel. Viele Grüsse aus Deutschland, Andreas.

@@trabsteiger I think that is what I'm going to do with ride. I sold ...luckily just one..10 put that expires this Friday. I have others that expire later in the year that should be safe, but for this one, I think I'd be better off rolling it out even if I lose my premium.

Where do I find the "wheel calculator" you mention in step #4? Thank you for the video. I just started doing wheels 6 weeks ago. I've made some good premiums but right now I have been assigned almost all my trades.

I used java code. This is helpful. Now I’m making strategies on pluto io as it is a lot more easier to understand and speedier to test automations without spending too much effort. I also used quant, etc. with okay wins.
I have only been selling calls, But i do own the stock already. Example i own 1,000 shares of XYZ im holding for long term and i sell calls at a strike where i profit even if i am assigned, but i also only sell 50% of what i own, so 1,000 share position i only sell 5 contracts. I only feel comfortable selling calls on what i own. And i like to do 50% because if it has a breakout run i still hold a decent amount of shares. I enjoy your videos just wondering what you think of my strategy
@@logicuser8382 You would think so, but there is a reason he is not showing how he is handling that account because he has probably 300,000 into ride and it’s still falling
@@ExperimentalPerception You sound ridiculous throwing around numbers like that. It’s very easy to figure out what his position is. He has 47 contracts at a strike of 21.50. Ride is currently at 7.33. Now you can do the easy math and see that it’s nowhere near 300 K.
@@ExperimentalPerceptionomg, I hope it's not that bad. But even if it is, he SHOULD show us, and show us what to do in case we run into that (and many of us will) at one time or another. Stocks don't always go up!
@@logicuser8382 the concept may be the same, BUT he's been showing us all along what he is doing and what to do when things go wrong, so why not just show us with current data, since many of us are in the same stocks. These channels make a LOT of money from us viewers... I think we deserve honest current content in exchange for our time spent supporting the channel. That's my take on it anyway.
Thanks to you Markus I now have a strategy for generating regular income in the stock market. I am not there yet but I have my strategy ready. I am working on building my capital.
