In collaboration with Heritage Open Days and the National Trust, this once-in-a-lifetime experience took visitors back in time to meet their ancestors, unlocking amazing family stories, secrets and surprises along the way.
In September 2022, Findmypast’s team of genealogy experts helped a VIP group of lucky Heritage Open Day visitors unravel their pasts and inspire their futures against the backdrop of The Savoy Hotel, London. Together, the attendees learned about Findmypast's latest achievements, the work behind the digitisation of the 1921 Census, and who called The Savoy home on census night. Plus, Findmypast also treated some of the guests to a family history 'wow moment', digging into their family trees to uncover a story for them.
