We live in California, search curbside, thrift stores, etc. People just toss out cool old stuff all the time! No interest. Love your vids.

Excellent video this week! I think you blew Nigel out of the water. He had some good finds as well, but I love the way you combine your finds with comedy and history!!! Just an amazing job Marie! Loved when Nigel couldn't get his magnet off that piece of metal! Glen, love the blue water bottle and wheel!!! I didn't know we got ammo from England during the civil war. We (family) live in Kentucky, which was a border state. Split between the north and south. Anyway, great video, you all are a riot!!!

I so enjoy watching all of you "fishing" with your magnets. Some of the finds - WOW!! Now where I live - over the pond. Most all of our bridges / streams / lakes are frozen over, so NO "fishing" by me until the ice goes out - late April - early May.

In the older factories there were those wheels with the non -straight radial struts, which proved to be stronger and more reliable than the straight rodded ones.? Roller of a cylinder lawn mower? I know you joke about, bullets, mortars, musket balls and cannon balls and shot of varying degrees, but can you imagine the damage that would be inflicted if you were hit by one of those?

Hi Marie ,, It looks like a microphone , The 3 little round connectors I see on the bottom is where the wire harness hooks up to and the round foam piece on the top is missing I have been fixing stereos and electronics all my life

Love your channel. You always give some type of history behind what your finding. Over here in the states all the magnet fishers really just pull out garbage. Very little history type items is found. But it is so hard to believe how people are just pigs in tossing their garbage in the water ways. This world needs more magnet fishers to help clean up the world's environment from the pigs who think it is ok to toss the garbage where ever they feel like.

Love the cow kettle. Awesome cobalt. Saddens me to see war artifacts, the guys who start the war never lose their homes, or arms and legs, just us. Hell with war, I say.

Found 2 k98 in a 2 feet river last summer moving there to since 78 years... think there is a ww2 garbage slope feeding the river bit by bit and year for year... wooden parts included with a polished buttstock... gave it to the officials... of course I did... .. . (not a native speaker so how bad is it?)

I wish Canada was a lot older, like yours , so we would have older objects just waiting to be found. I will be out there in the summer doing my own fishing.
