I'm also dropping some tips to help your kiddo (from a pediatric occupational therapist!). In occupational therapy, we work on these skills often so I want to share some of my knowledge so that you are aware of how you can help your kiddo! I even include an effective fine motor skills activity to help your kiddo with pre-writing skills. Fine motor exercises may include scribbling, playing with playdoh for hand strengthening or peeling stickers for dexterity.
