In the opening session of this two-day convening, IFC's Emmanuel Nyirinkindi, delivered an inspiring keynote address on how a community like FinEquity can help “choose and magnify” important topics in women’s financial inclusion, drive collective action and help to collectively solve priority issues.
#FinEquity2024 explored the role of financial services in enabling women’s resilience with specific focus on:
1. Designing climate-smart solutions that work for women.
2. How to measure economic empowerment and resilience gained by women through financial inclusion.
3. How to mobilize gender lens investing for women-led MSMEs in agriculture, food systems and more.
