Well done, Aaron! And thanks for making these videos every Friday after NPRD has run its course.

I have an old Mosquito kit and an Aires cockpit detail set that I have been too afraid to use, so that the whole "project" has been on hold until now (not that there are no others ;) ). Does not look like magic; the way you do it, it seems manageable. Thanks for the video, and nice music btw!

Will your channel upload a video soon re changes at Kalmbauch and does any of the sale impact FSM or is it limited to other titles?

Does the print magazine exist anymore? Can't find it anywhere in Arizona.

Great job, and your right that original wheel well was spartan. The aftermarket part is definitely an improvement.

I have an old 1/48 Italeri Tomcat into which I'm attempting to finagle an Aries resin cockpit. The twist is that the resin cockpit is designed for the Hobby Boss kit. "How hard could it be?" I hear you ask, I am a modeller after all. After much cutting, grinding and unintended snapping of resin bits and the slow drain on my very will to live, the offending piece has once again been flung into the farthest reaches of the hobby room. There it will remain until I can kickstart my mojocycle again. Meanwhile, g'day from the outskirts of Toowoomba, Qld, Australia.

If this was an aires set, you would have had to sand away half of the wing to make wing halves close…but once you get the hang of that, it is ok. I would though only recommend this to experienced ppl, other complexities get thrown in for installing the gear itself i.e., not oversanding the halves…etc.

The reason we showed this is because if you're going to take the leap, you have to jump in and try. You can't gain the experience without going for it.

Is there a link available for the store that makes these detailed parts?

Do you mean resin detail parts in general or parts specifically for this model kit? The parts used for this version of the Airfix Vulcan were produced from Two Mikes and are OOP, although you can probably find them on the secondary market. If you're simply looking for resin detail parts, here's a quick Google search to get you started: www.google.com/search?q=scale+model+resin+detail+parts&rlz=1C1JJTC_enUS944US944&oq=scale+model+resin+detail+parts&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIICAEQABgWGB4yDQgCEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgDEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyCggEEAAYgAQYogTSAQk1OTE1ajFqMTWoAgiwAgE&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
