The winter months can be the most frustrating for largemouth bass fishermen because the fish school in deep water close to the bottom and don't require a lot of food to survive. But, they do have to eat, and finding them with the right bait and presentation is a game changer. I typically spend most of my time on the waster searching for them with my graph. Even when I do find fish, they usually don't want to eat. So I keep moving until I locate feeding fish. It's easy to become discouraged, but remember this, discouragement means your getting very close to a breakthrough! Don't give up. Keep doing what you know will work, and the worm will turn for you too!
