Literally your lessons are the best! I haven’t played with the metronome in years, I’m really trying to now. I was in the orchestra back in HS and played the violin, I’m teaching myself how to play the piano now and it’s difficult a bit to play to the metronome. Your videos and confidence have definitely helped me in ways… you have no idea! 🙏🏽👌🏽❤️‍🔥

I just randomly found this channel, algorithm probably started with Bo Beats, then Gabe Miller, and finger drumming and here I am! I started with synths, then found this whole other world with beat making. This is the best training so far, loving it.

most important excercise: get your brain to issue commands to left and right hand rhythmically disjointed. you're 95% set then.

Thank you bro, this helped me get started with finger drumming on an MPC. I just got an MPD (which is a cheaper version of the MPC) yesterday and I want to use that to make drum patterns and chop samples, and I am looking for tips on how to improve at that.

A solid intro into the MPC pad drumming is the Akai mpk mini mk3. $130 gets you the drum pads, keys, and connects to the free MPC Beats software, helps learn the workflow hes playing in. I downloaded the MPC Beats software and used my tablet as the pads for a while, then my keyboard. Then used the Akai mini mk3 and it felt like a huge step up and a feel for the real thing. Made me buy the MPC One.
