good question. This is a standard mold kit which is made for creating "classic boards" ... but we have custom mold kits too. you ca design them with our online configurator --> Visit the website www.fingerboard-molds.com for all the infos
my custom mold arrived today , and it is awesome the quality the shape i choose (with a bit Help of them) delivery was actually super fast , now i can make my own board with MY SHAPE , if you buy 3 decks on fbs or blackriver etc it Costa more than a mold with veener wood for 3 boards lol
thank you :) i know that it seems expensive at the first view. but please think about again: you ca build a loot high quality boards out of it! usually a good boards costs 20-30€ (or even more). that's the money worth after making your third board ;)
another thing is, that a to of people want to make several boards the same time. So they purchase 3 or 4 molds. With that system they can use it "everywhere" and without buying 4 vices :)
Hi, should be in your hands in 7-10 business days. In some cases faster. But in actual situation with covid19 it could be a bit slower... depends on shipping capacities of our and your national shipping company. If you have any other questions, you can send us a message to info@fingerboard-molds.com Cheers Dennis
does the new beginner kit have the outline inside the mold (not something I would want)? i bought a custom shape mold about two years ago and wanted to try a new configuration since I didn't like the one i configured then :)
... and a friend who can design a good board in 3D... and another friend who has a CNC or metal laser to make metal-stiffness-plates.... and one who can do a 3d-online-configurator to see how your board will look like... and a friend who knows which industrial grade plastic you should use for your mold... And another one who knows what the best glue and veneer for a fingerboard is... Greetings to your friends ;) Cheers Dennis
This video was not really helpful. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just put the details in the video instead of making a list for them. And the music was super annoying. Not visiting your Chanel again
Carter Dixon what do you mean with details? In the video there is every detail about the process shown. On our website you can buy a complete kit to build boards. What do you need more? :) please let me know
Thomas Couret on our website www.fingerboard-molds.com or on some veneershop in the web. Or on ebay :) but ours are tested to make awesome fingerboards ;(
since this is very hard to record from the camera angle. but i think this is clear how it works. use the fret saw which you see in the video. its easy! :)
I am about to purchase one lol sick of these cheap 3d decks with no pins or big enough holes drilled. Just cant figure out the dimensions I want considering it's a decent investment and Im low on money like all of us. I have what I think what I want, written down. I'm just afraid the concave length or height and the tail/nose angle and lengths
HIPS 8 thank you for your order! For all the other people who reads this, we accept creditcard, paypal and payment in advance via bank transfer. The first two options are the fastest :)
i recommend to let it cure for 24hours. Once you are familiar with the process and the right amount of glue, you could decrease that down to 12hours or less. But please get used to the process first and see some good results before yo decrease curing time :) Cheers
Hi, a custom mold needs usually 2-3 days. (Sometimes up to 4-5 days). Shipping depends on were you live on the planet :) within Europe 5-10 days for example
Usually its 10-15 days to the US, but with actual Covid19 situation it could be longer in some cases. But it got better recently. So I guess it gets back to the normal shipping times. Hope that helps :)
thank you :) visit our website: www.fingerboard-molds.com and go to the webshop. we ship worldwide and we accept credit card and paypal. Currency changes automatically at the end of the checkout)
Hi Alejandro, this depends on the amount of glue you use. If you are new to board making, then you probably using a bit too much glue, so i recommend to let the boards dry overnight for your first couple boards. Write me a message over our website www.fingeboard-molds.com if you have more detailed questions. then we could talk.... :)
Hey i love u guys and im a big fan but I have one question, I saw that on your guy’s site there was no out line on the mold so is it something u changed or I can’t see it .
Hi, that is correct. the outline has been deleted on the newest version of all of our Molds and there is a good reason for. EVERY kit comes now with a Shaper. And you can draw the outline much better with this shaper. AND the best, since the mold has no outline any more, you can use that mold with a loooot of different shapers. We have now a bunch of new shapers like boxy or old school or different widths. So overall it a very good thing that the outline has been deleted. :) If you have any other question you could always send us an email: info@createyourskate.com Hope this helps. Cheers Dennis
Hi Markus, you could also make a 34mm by 96 mm board by ordering an additional shaper for your mold: www.createyourskate.com . You could also design your complete own board in every measurement by using our 3D-Configurator: www.fingerboard-molds-configurator.com . Let me know if you need any help. you can send me an email: dennis@createyourskate.com
hi. nice idea, but it would maybe tiny scratches on the graphic. But if you would put thin sheet of foil or fabric between, yes i think that would work.... i have to try that! :)
it is the standard mold. the custom mold is the same in use, but you can define every measurement by your own with our online configuration tool on the website. www.fingerboard-molds.com
Hi, this depends on how hard you are using the shaper. The best way is to use the shaper for drawing the outline and then cut pretty close to the line. so at the end you are sanding just the last mm when the board is in the shaper. :) Some customers use the shaper for 100 of boards... and they can be ordered afterwards at any time (in case it gets damaged over time) Cheers Dennis

Sure you can do this. Visit www.createyourskate.com and choose the veneer you want. You can choose from standard, colored and special wood. If you have any questions, write us an email at info@createyourskate.com or info@fingerboard-molds.com :)
our example is just a normal paper (80gr/m²). Because this is the easiest way for EVERYONE to create by graphics by themselves. and the result is really awesome :)
Hi Leonard, thank you for your feedback. I just wanna say that you can make a lot of professional fingerboard-decks out of this mold. The set even includes all to make your first 3 boards. As an Fingerboards i think you know that good decks costs 25 - 35€ --- so if you build your first 3 boards, you got the money back ;) You can buy more veneer at our webshop for little money, or you can buy veneer in your country to get more different veneer in less time. A lot of people using the mold to build boards for their friends an make some money with that work. Even a few professional fingerboard companies using our molds to craft their high quality decks and earn real money with it --- so all in all: yes, the kit is the money worth for sure! :) Cheers Dennis
