How’d you shake this feelin’, that you were born seen stealin’, maybe you coasted far too long. Baby, you seem so tired, drawing phan-tom power, for all of the fires in your mind. There’s a house, aaaaall that you wanted. was to feel less haunted. By the desires. Desire to drive you into the arms of another lo-ver’s dreams. Is this all there is even after, years of trial and error, learning’ how to love for love t’ be destroyed. L’t’s board up the bedroom windows. Fire of Roman candles, watch all the ghosts in our clothes, disappear.
This should be a little more accurate, though there are some areas that [might still be wrong]: How do you shake this feeling that you were born scene stealin'? Maybe you coasted far too long. Baby you seem so tired drawing phantom power from all of the fires in your life [as a house]. And all that you wanted was to feel less haunted by the desires. Desires that drive you into the arms of another lover's dreams. Is this all there is even after years of trial and error? Learnin' how to love, be loved, and destroyed. Let's board up the bedroom windows; fire off Roman candles. Watch all the ghosts [in our clothes] disappear.
@@bootynuzzler1351 these are the correct lyrics, it’s what I hear Mary Elizabeth Winstead sing in So It Goes (I think that’s the name of the short film) and Horus Horus of man man is the one recording her vocal track. This is the original version though.
@@jonathenanderson7627 I found the 6th street rooftop party a couple nights ago. It was at night, raining, and I decided to not aggro, and did the little shooting contest. This song started playing afterwards. Just stood there and listened to it, watching the traffic on the highway and chilled with the NPCs for a little. First playthrough was on the edgerunners update, so far, I'm happy I waited. It's really been great
@@_Hell_cat_ its where i heard it too, got drunk after taking a shot and didnt even bother doing the contest just sat and listened. lovely tune, the band is Man Man im gona listen to more of their stuff
I heard first time at night in Badlands , was such a vibe , and also it started playing as I sat on the bike right after Scorpion’s “funeral” which was also a great feeling at that edge
they left this (along with many others) off the ost because they're tied to extra special moments within the game. Also the OST was full due to the fact this games got like 10 hrs of music at least lol
Music in this game is very unique with the mood and feel of the scenes that play out. For instance, when first meeting Evelyn at Lizzie's, Night City was playing and it immediately set the tone for her character.
@@storms9023 It reminds me a lot of how music worked in the original Red Dead Redemption. Crossing over into Mexico, and then Jose Gonzales starts playing and you're like D,: bruh what how is this so moody
@@SupaKeshi42dude I got i noticed this in my last couple play throughs. One I got in the new vigilante and it was playing and this time I went out and turned in the radio port and it started raining then boom….this song came on.
Heard it after doing the shooting competition with 6th Street. I let the song play out while on the rainy night of them partying until it went to some other song. Then I went back to the usual job of beating them out cold like with any other gangoon and boostergang.
This song just feels so nostalgic for some reason, like a distant memory. Something I should've experienced long ago. Really makes me feel right at home with the Nomads too
Heard this in the Badlands at night on my way to visit the Aldecaldos. Heard this song come on the radio, parked my car, and just looked up at the stars. Night City was just a distant memory. My Nomad realised he was home with the Aldecaldos.
This song got me completely off guard. I was coming out of the apartment(V’s) while it was raining. Just did a palmer date too. This song started playing and i was just remembering what is going to happen in the DLC. Smh. This song was perfect sadly.
driving in the badlands, showed up to the aldecados camp and heard this playing, dropped fucking everything to listen. this is one of those songs that sticks the hell out after dumping Hours and hours into this game, theres so much to this game. It gets better each time i listen the emotion gets way more potent eventually i litterally broke down crying because this game makes me realize how short life is, too fucking short. V, jackie, panam, the nomads, all that shit. This game kinda changed my POV on life.
Genuinely same. Just finished my very first playthrough of the game and wow I don’t think there’s been another game that I’ve played that’s left such a huge impact on me and how I view certain aspects of life. Amazing game and I can’t wait for the sequel for it.
First heard this driving to Johnnys "grave" in his porsche 911. The yellow tinted headlights shining on the dark deserted roads, not knowing what We'll find when we get there. Meanwhile Johnnies just sat in the passenger seat bobbing his head and grooving to this song, typical rockerboy 😅

Dunno how the guy who commented lyrics but absolutely butchered them got more likes than you. When theres you, who actually wrote the correct lyrics to the song, got less.. Don't worry, friend. Every time I listen to this song, I look at your comment instead of that guy's mess.
It's an unreleased work of the band Man Man, which they rebranded as The Fingers And The Outlaws for Cyberpunk 2077. So most likely the band didn't plan to release it as a single, and CD Projekt Red has no rights to distribute it outside of their game.
Personally I think the melancholy tone of the song yet the themes of acceptance and moving on makes me think it fits *perfectly* with the Temperance ending. The Nomad ending I think is a bit too optimistic for this song.
@@PureFlakes i feel like this song would fit good cause it got this "ok im gonna die soom but i have everthing i need around me" - vibe too, just like the ending
A song so nice CDPR decided to play it twice..... for some reason. Super under rated song though. Id always flick back to Morro Rock to see if it was playing.
I just love how this song wallows in this really low down feeling but it doesn't feel tragic. More accepting of the lowness and you may as well just shrug and watch the sunset while you rip through a carton of darts and a 6 pack
Every video game I play has a song that makes me stop and listen each time it comes on, and each if those songs becomes part of my life soundtrack, this one is pretty high on that list🥰
This one stuck out to me. As soon as I heard it on a dark night in the city, raining as I ordered a new car from an Autofixer.. one of those songs that makes everything you look at more.. meaningful
After going through 3 playthroughs on my final one (the one im on now for the dlc) this song played for the first time while on my way from dogtown to the badlands, my god is this song so, so damn relaxing and comforting. It is something underrated that needs to be shown off
After a long few years this one hits. I got a long list of heavy shit since the pandemic started and idk, this song just hits. Makes me feel like someone understands.
just heard this while driving up some windy roads to judy's date after desperately waiting for her call for daaays and immediately went to try and find it on spotify only to learn its not on there, the world is cruel
Whenever the story impact you in Night City, this music comes next. I could not even move because of the emotions. Life is short, act and think fast. Do whatever you want until the death comes. Thanks for the game CDPR.
Looking out at NC at night while it's raining. You see a gang goon chasing some woman, you've seen it a million times. The gang goon goes to pull a gun and fires, it shoots confetti everywhere. The woman screams and the goon is shot dead by a kid that accidentally dropped his power pistol
After finishing the conversation with Johnny in the oil rig. This song start playing after I get back into Johnny’s Porsche. Make me feel like two old friends finally make amend to each other.
The first time I heard this song was so perfectly times 😂 just after Rogue questline, Johnny and I went on a little roadtrip after the drive-in, and this song played. Like it was made for a nostalgic and sad ambiance because of Johnny's nostalgia
One of my fav songs in the games soundtrack. I would listen to this outside of 2077 as it comfortably fits in the genre of music i enjoy. Such a shame that video game music is still stuck in the "video game crowd"
I hate how after cdpr fixed a lot of the bugs, that amazing music production, and the awesome anime people are still not wanting to play this game. Maybe it’s bc ive waited since I was playing my 360 for this game but to release but I fucking love this game. One of the best story games I ever played
@@Capi_e36Many people became fans of the game after the recent changes, but you have to understand that a lot were also badly burned by the stuff they pulled on release. CDPR has come a long way from the original release, but every time I play this game, it reminds me of how much potential was lost by rushing its development. Many issues will never get resolved, and so much content was cut. Just one more year of development could have made this game one of the RPGs of the decade. Alas, the end of active updates from CDPR is approaching, and we will probably never see Cyberpunk 2077's vision fully realized. The next entry in the series might be another 10 years away, if it ever happens.
This came on after the Backs Against the Wall gig in Kabuki. I felt really bad after what happened and then this song played after I left the building. It made me depressed. Shit's fucked, chooms.
One time I was going up an elevator to kill some guy from the last floor in one of them megabuildings, this was on and for some reason even after I enter the restricted area, the radio was still on, so I do my thing and clear the floor quiet as possible and zero the target, the song ended as I was leaving the building, best moment in my hundred of hours in this game!
This song will forever remind me of how truly depressing cyberpunk is, it took me two playthroughs to truly make me see that there is no happy ending for anyone not even for V, just sadness, and well they did a damn good job of making me cry along the way
@@DanielFlores-im7jb literally blew my mind, cue me super hero leaping across rooftops during the sixth Street shooting game to find the source of that voice
This came on when I was driving back into night city after saving Saul with Panam. Felt like I was slowly losing the freedom and beauty of the badlands as I made it back into the city. It was honestly such a memorable moment in the game.
I beat the game once and i heard this song at the end of my playthrough as well as all the Samurai tracks and actually listening to the lyrics, I realized I didn't beat the game to enjoy the journey, i was just operating on Beating it asap, i immediately restarted my playthrough when I realized all the endings didn't hit the way they were supposed to. On my next playthrough, i drove everywhere no fast travel, i listened to all the ads, music, dialogue, side quests, read most of the shards and Holy shit, Night City is dense. And THIS SONG is the perfect Summary for V - like after everything that happens, he is basically operating on Phantom Power, he's jus going off of fumes and I am so sad for V and everyone in Night City, cuz we're all tired. Everyone is fucking tired, just like real life, no one wakes up in this fucked up world, ready to go everyday fully refreshed, we have to take it one step at a time and sometimes, you gotta take that long drive on the highway to really remember what you're doing it for, the beauty in the struggle of everyday life. Its beauty and a Curse everyday. And so it goes..

SPOILERS FOR TEMPERANCE ENDING This song always seemed to fit so perfectly for the Temperence ending. Just V sitting on the bus looking out the window thinking about everything that's happened and how he's clearly depressed from how things ended. Yet in a weird way it makes me root for the new V. It makes me want to think that after all this hardship there's something better out there for him.
I was just killing a cyberpsycho for the mission near a coast with the sunset all beautiful and when i killed him and came out this song played on the radio and i was like damn
