I really appreciate the very human review, it wasnt hyper advertiser-like, it wasnt super scientific, but a honest before and after test with human considerations "i probably wouldnt use it monthly.. it costs a bit too much to do that". One note- if you're showing glass on camera its best to put it on a black background like putting a black paper inside the jar so that the specs become highly contrasted and not distorted
Thanks for your video, you provided me with an answer to my question and you used the word “sanitize” I had run the dishwasher on “hot” it didn’t melt the wax seal fully so it only used about 1/4 of the bottle, I have it back running in sanitize now. Should do as expected.
@@TheOptimalLife If you can get the lemon one, I use every 4 mts, but i use with Finnish dish washer tabs, its the best results, also use a wet cloth and clean your outer seals, You will notice a bib difference, All the best and stay safe from the uk, x
@@416pp Yes.. When you do the Dishwasher Cleaning. clean out your Filters too... And don't forget the Lint traps on your Dryers they have been know to cause fires ! ! ! ... Its amazing how quick there is of a build up of Lint even after just a few loads of wash. Of course it depends on the fabric your washing... I wanted to remind people of that...
Thanks for review, it was very helpful but I would like which program did u use while the dishwasher cleaner. Do I have to wait for the next day to wash my dishes after I use it?.
You’re welcome. I’m glad it was helpful. I used the high temp setting on my dish washer. You shouldn’t need to wait until the next day to use it. You can run dishes immediately following use. Thanks for watching!
I found what you said about the strong burnt wax smell most interesting!!! I bought and used this product for the first time today. After it was finished, I noticed the noxious smell. I was actually worried about the smell, until I saw your review. Now that I think about it, it does have that burnt wax smell. Can't stand this product, b/c of the smell. Won't use again!!!
That burnt wax smell you are smelling is actually from the plastic bottle itself when it is running the dry mode. That's the smell of melting plastic from the bottle itself. Hope this helps!
@kricketbx Look at the back label and read. Also, take a good look at the 3 photos on the back. Next to one of the artistic photos, it says, "Place bottle upside down in the bottom dish rack. Keep cap on and make sure the wax plug is exposed. DO NOT USE ANY SOAP OR DISHWASHER DETERGENT."
It’s a good idea to use some sort of cleaner as a preventative but use whatever works best for you. You can also just run some white vinegar through an empty load to help keep things clean. Thanks for watching!
I saw a commercial on TV and thought it was a rinse agent as well. I had to look it up. I have used other machine cleaners that come I powder form. Some are specifically for washing machines others for dishwashers and some are sold to clean both types of machines.
The Optimal Life Thank you for sharing this RU-vid video 📺🎥. I have a new dishwasher here in my apartment. The manufacturer recommends me to use Finish Dishwasher Cleaner. I even received a sample of Finish Powerball Quantum that cleans dishes very good. And, I received a sample of Finish Jet Dry Rinse Aid. Also, I plan to use the cleaner once a month and not every 6 months since I know that I will be using this dishwasher at least twice per week.
You’re welcome. I’m glad that the video was helpful for you. Congratulations on the new apartment and dishwasher! Let me know which of the cleaners you like best. Thanks for watching!
Save your money. All you need is vinegar and baking soda (total cost about $1.50 or less). Most people already have these products at home. Finish Dishwasher is ok but you will probably need two applications to get the results you desire. Check out the You Tube videos. There are a bunch of them.
@Kev Ban On the back label, it tells you to "Run dishwasher empty on the hottest cycle(i.e. pots & pans, sanitation, etc.). Discard empty bottle at the end of the cycle."
That dishwasher has been neglected. You must run a dishwasher cleaner at least once a month. Mine 5 years old and still looks brand new and works brand new when I decided to replace her with an upgraded dishwasher.
The Optimal Life I got the Maytag MDB4949shz my last one was a Frigidaire with a plastic tub and it looked new inside and out still but I wanted a stainless steel interior with a higher temperature sanitizer function especially during this pandemic. Also it had to be an American brand.
No you dont. You dont need to use these at all! Run the dishwasher empty hottest setting with some powder in it, does the same thing. Shows how you fall for the BS marketing.
They have a Finish dishwasher cleaner you can use WHILE cleaning dishes. It's not a liquid but a pod. It comes in a pack of three. You're supposed to ideally use one once every week.
Maybe you got a defective bottle? You might want to try to run it in a different location in the dishwasher and if that doesn’t work I would return it to the store.
So she is making a cleaning video, but you think she should do her hair beforehand? I dig it, woman should always have their done and make up on, no matter what they are doing at anytime.
