I am about 7 months into my crochet journey, and i am currently struggling to finish any project! I am just so excited to try new techniques and try different yarns and sizes, i just can't choose!! Realizing that this might be a more ongoing situation with this craft 😅 Thank you for normalizing my concerns!!!❤

@@RapunzelFiberArts tbh a winding video with soft music would be so nice. An idea would be to record it over multiple days and edit it to an hours long winding vid. Other fibre artist can use as background noise + motivation for their projects
The Temperature blanket sounds so cool, for 100 years! I look forward to see how it grows I knitted a Temperature blanket for my birth year and one for last year, I cherish them both and use them most days
Great Job with Accounting on your WIPs. I would finish the ones that are almost finished. Go for the fast wins, like the spacemaker method always says. Love all your handspun projects ❤

I'm pretty sure Indigo Montoya is the best color name I've ever heard! 😂 I stumbled upon this video (my first of yours that I've seen) today and I enjoyed watching you WIPs! Also, you mentioned you spin some of your own yarn? Is it just for fun, or do you sell any of it? 😁 I'm an avid knitter, but I don't make any of my own yarn, unless I'm recycling scraps or clothing or something like that.
@@abbysmilesdesign Hi Abby! Thanks for the comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, I do spin my own yarn, and even process it from raw fleece sometimes. It's mostly for enjoyment, and I don't really sell any unless I get a custom order. But I will say that knitting with handspun is a luxury and very enjoyable. Plus then you can design yarns for specific projects. Hope this helped!

@@abbysmilesdesign You can always start with a spindle or two to see if you like it! Wheels are easier to use (in my opinion) but lots of people love spindling, either with a drop spindle or a supported spindle. I'd recommend starting with a drop spindle if you're interested in trying it. It can be expensive though, especially wheels, so feel free to appreciate from afar if it's not your vibe right now!
