Hint, when you are milling you want to go against the flutes always otherwise you are doing what they call climb milling and when you climbmill, it not only dulls the bits quick but it will not keep a precise cut. Also the finish will be much better. Nice work guys..

I use to weld hydraulic oil tanks and used a mixture of rubbing alcohol and blue line chalk brushed over the welds to check for leaks once you fill with water. Just a tip for others, cool ass project!

Man that looks like a cold place. I live in the sub-tropics in Australia, It's a 3 hour flight and a 4 hour drive to get to the only snow fields here. Our ski season lasts about 4 weeks, Then you're lucky if the temperature stays below freezing during the day.

Sure it's kind of pointless since you guys are used to the big boy engines but I feel like it would be a different kind of fun to turn a 6.5hp derpy engine into a 20hp monster! Btw some time ago I broke the splines of my BMW X5’s front driveshaft,then I extended the splines using 3 seres rwd driveshaft and welded with my mig welder with sleeve between two parts ,but at that time I have no faith in that weld 😃 so I tried to brake it when I was close to the shop knowing that can be fixed again easily, I didn’t even put the under tray😃 but it still hold up the abuse of that 4500 lbs suv… Anyways that tig weld on the camper should hold lifetime beating 😃and btw those two shafts are ruffle the same diameter 😃 Good work again ,grate fabrication skills I love what you doing.🔥

I was afraid that vacuum pump might have trouble getting primed and keeping its prime being mounted above the fuel level rather than being submerged mounted under the tank. But apparently it isn't an issue...

Keep good clean oil I'm that engine. I had the same one in my Arctic Cat and I know they have oiling problems.

My job is to inspect every tank of gas ranging from oxygen to hydrogen with a lot of trimixes and more. But the dot pressure rating of tanks should look like 3AA2400 or 10 percent over. (Unless its medium than that 3AA2015) but usually once they run out of gas it has to be a huge difference in temperature to get any kind of significant pressure out of it.

I love the open 8 or 10 inch mounted grinder wheels. I have the same setup!!!!! bad to the bone!!!!! getting the fire extinguisher rust off!!!! hahahahahaha

If i seen that right ya'll put a fuel filter on the pick up hose an dropped it down in there.It may need some weight to hold it down in there like a weighted fuel filter for a weed eater or chain saw.

you would have like me in my garage. weld pipes to the boiler and the chimney as a branch pipe run a 12v spotted push through air quickly gets hot. or an old wood boiler blowing air through the pipes instead of water Like your builds
