ANNOUNCEMENT:
Anastasia, War Thunder's senior support specialist, reached out Friday November 19th to inform me that we are unable to proceed with the BF-109Z giveaway. Although I initially received the go-ahead from Gaijin to do the giveaway prior to publishing the video, my ticket was escalated and it has been decided that those players who previously purchased the BF-109Z pack and able to gift it after its removal from the store will be unable to do so. Anastasia explained that this was a bug which has since been fixed.
I can't tell you how disappointed I was to read her message and share this news with all of you now. As I've said before, I've been playing War Thunder since 2015. I started making videos to share my fun moments, knowledge, and build a community simply because I love the game - not for fame or money. My intention with the giveaway was to get my channel out there to achieve those goals and gift one lucky player with a very unique vehicle. I know the 100+ new subscribers will be disappointed to learn this news, many of which will likewise be disappointed or angry with me. Please know that this giveaway was not a scam but was created in good faith and intentions. I was in fact able to gift the BF-109Z until November 13th when the bug was fixed, I was not aware this was a bug, and I received confirmation prior to publishing the giveaway that it was possible. The last thing I want is for the community to think that I intentionally misled them.
I responded to Anastasia's message informing her that I would cancel the giveaway and of my intention to make it right with you all by gifting the winner a vehicle pack currently available for purchase within the store. I also requested that the BF-109Z be returned to the store and for any advice/assistance they could provide to help make this bad news better.
