Lucky Miss Tracey ♥️ beautiful quilt… thanks for sharing that experience… as a relatively new quilter, I appreciate all the things I learn, from your shared knowledge!!
Hi as a brand new quilter I really appreciate this video on binding! I have a project where I am at the binding of the wall hanging and I had no clue on how to bind. This will be the first time I have done this. Yikes! I have saved this video so I can refer back to it Thank you! Love the quilt!
I've watched so many binding videos!!!! It really helped me, but the most helpful thing is just doing it. Each quilt I do is alittle faster and alittle better. You'll get it!!
I think the issue with that first blue thread is that it's embroidery thread, meant for an embroidery machine. Sadly, it's not the same thing and it's not interchangeable with sewing thread. It can be used for longarm quilting, but it's not meant to be used for sewing seams.
@@moodygirlcreates130 I'm quilting an oversized baby quilt made from flannel in a crosshatch pattern and it is not fun at all. Flannel is also not the easiest to work with. Plus, in dulls my rotary blades fast.
Yep, I took the bobbin plate off, the casing out cleaned it all, brand new needle.. just put in another new needle cause I thought maybe it first one got bent. It's sewing fine, but something has changed from the old needle to the new needles.. its like they are too thick.
Thank you so much!! You are awesome and thanks for getting back to me so quick. I realize you have a life and work full time - appreciate you 🥰. I even have that book and I probably bought it because of your video that you sent me from the first time I saw it - all because of the turtles 😊. I gotta write stuff down and put stickies on projects/patterns. So many ideas floating in my head, gotta round them up and get them out of my head 😜
