What great teamwork! Elizabeth picked such pretty colors and Bill pulled it all together. The dark wood looks so rich against the Rosebud color. The bunk bed solution is really perfect. The grand kids will enjoy sleeping there and it won't interfere with working in the office. This is so exciting...you really picked the best house for you! ❤

Migraines are so painful and make you nauseous and sick, I know from having them. I pray the doctors will find out what is causing them and be able to help her. Have you tried Toradol IV to treat the migraines? It has to be administered through IV to help me, the shot doesn’t work, something about the sed rate. God bless.

Elizabeth, the colors are all perfect! And you're right, Bill is, indeed, a master painter! And your painting you chose for the living room really does look as though it was made for the room! I can't wait to see what all you choose, for throughout the house. I do understand the thrill at getting to pick stuff out you love! About 5 years ago, we got a storage shed/cabin to go on our 10 acres. One end of it is totally mine, to have an office, get away, you name it space. I loved either finding things in our house to move out there, or finding thrift store treasures. And the things I wanted just seemed to show up at the perfect time! Will look forward to seeing what treasures find you!! 😊

I’m with you,Bill. I can use an angled brush and cut in a whole lot faster than taping everything off! I’m 70 and have painted the inside of my entire house. I’m going to paint the outside this spring. I’m a firm believer you can do anything you put your mind to “through Christ who strengthens me!” Oh and I’ve had both knees replaced. I also do all my yard work!

I’d go with a daybed and trundle beneath. Then it can be used as a sofa during the day and 2 twin beds for guests. The house is cute!

That is how I decorate my house with goodwill pictures that have been matted and on sale for only $10 a piece!! A steel really!! Everything doesn’t have to be expensive at all !! I love your ocean picture Elizabeth!😍😊❤️. It is truly beautiful! Love you both!! 🥲

I don't mean to be critical, but I like the dark on the bottom and light on top. But Elizabeth, it's what you like and you and Bill have the last say of course. You are both such nice people, I don't like to say anything negative and it's not meant that way. Just my opinion and it doesn't count :) Bill did a great job painting and taking care of his knee too. The house is so charming and I know you'll both have a wonderful time decorating it the way you want. Definitely check out all the resale shops etc. to find what you need. Those shops are so fun and you'll find treasures. The picture you found is perfect for that room. Thanks for sharing with us and take care !!

You make me want to heal more physical pain stuff and my niece praise God Got through 2 plates and screws on her ankle the 31 and now the journey really begins..you are a wonderful painter,,,the people who did my place were not good like you...I am taking notes...i would have no patience with tape..and as usual you are kind to less can do's with the how tos'. Thanks for really being all of our friends you two. Elizabeth,,,it is just wonderful colors...you have a wonderful eye...and..we have the same mirror!!! "Cheval" I think it is called. Sweet way to share with family your wishes. We have bunks in our family of Origin rendez-vous.

The house with the new paint looks fantastic! I really love your ideas for decorating the master. With the paint being darker above the chair rail, that should actually help Bill sleep longer, lol. Another option down the road if you feel like you need a change, a lighter shade of green above the chair rail would be pretty in Elizabeth's office. It would bring out the palm trees in the wallpaper strip. I just love watching what you two are doing with this home and enjoying Florida as much as I do. ❤

Returned to watch the video again while quilting just so I can enjoy the colors again! Bill, the Romance and Rosebud colors shouldn't cause too much anxiety since pink has been used in college visitor locker rooms to calm down the opponent and sleeping in the MBR should be easy enough -- just close your eyes! :) What a lovely home sweet home.

Elisabeth you did an amazing color choice for each room. Bill did a amazing job painting. I love painting and I always painted like he does. I too am really good with trim. Its all beautiful. I would be excited too to pick the wall decor and everything else. I love the picture you already got. Bill was pretty funny. I know he will get used to the loud in a short time! I wish I could find a home with minimal fixing up that isn’t costly or have to break my back. You got a beautiful home and yard. A diamond in the rough!

I love how a coat of paint can really begin to transform a home. It's looking lovely! I'm with Elizabeth on the dark on top in the bedroom, it really works. Great job getting it all painted Bill. I don't use tape either, unless I'm painting a room with carpet!

I’ll be frank, red is the last color I would paint a bedroom.BUT with that said, I understand where you are going with this. I cannot wait to see your results Elizabeth. I'm so glad you had that other guy come and help for one room. Too bad he couldn't have helped more! I hope he cooperated and did what you wanted him to do! LOL. My mother painted our houses when I was little, and I remember her never taping anything. And she would put down ONE sheet of newspaper to set her paint can and tools on. It seems to me that NOT taping is the best way if you can just train yourself to be careful and take your time. I envy your steady hands. I have tremor, so I would not even touch a paint brush any more. I might do the rolling if I had to.

I completely agree with you, Bill, about not using tape for painting. My husband and I never do. All you need is a good grade brush and paint. You did a great job!

Air mattresses might be convenient when you have visitors. I love the paint colors Elizabeth chose. The master bedroom is going to be awesome. If the rose color bothers Bill, you can always tone it down with a glaze on top of it. I'm so excited for you!

Like you said, the siding outside is fine. I grew up in a home with asbestos siding, my Dad kept it painted, no problem. There are thousands of homes that have that siding. It is a very sturdy siding that withstands weather and high winds, unlike vinyl siding.

Painting for me at least is a calming activity. I love it, spending time talking with the Lord while I painted. You do it the way I do it. No taping. And I like the colors you have chosen for the whole house. The pink can be off set with rich greens, especially palm fronds and such on a bed spread. And the dark wood is lovely too. Bill, glad your knee is healing. And where did you find such a beautiful wife??? Elizabeth, I love your hair as it perfectly frames your beautiful face.
