Beautiful! I do kinda wish this had a more regency silhouette because I want to see more of that silhouette everywhere even when it’s not Bridgerton related, but it’s still a gorgeous color and I love how the glitter catches the light!
@@corinamr I actually haven't watched the show! I don't think it's my kind of show. But I have watched videos of people discussing the outfits and I have seen videos and pictures online :)
@@corinamrshe explained in a previous video why she didn’t make it historically accurate. it’s not a costume party and most of the red carpet goers won’t be dressing half as ‘bridgerton’-like as her, so she didn’t want to look like she was cosplaying (paraphrasing, look it up yourself)
I think it's lovely, I don't think it's too simple, concerned with spray glitter and how it will be affected by cleaning but it's your dress, you can do what you want to it
This looks great but I wish there had been a few more added details. I haven’t seen the show so I may be inflating my view of the few clips I’ve seen but I feel like despite their simplicity some of the dresses actually have a lot going on! This style feels very same-y to your other dresses you’ve made, but I also see how that is your little twist on the style. Either way it is beautiful and elegant, and I’m sure you will look stunning in it!
It looks GREAT!!! I'm so excited about that glitter spray, I've never seen that before and it's such an intriguing concept! I will definitely have to look into trying that
Its a nice design but a bit bland for a premiere. You can always glam it up with accessories and hair-makeup though. Square neck usually looks very homely and simple. Deep V/ off-shoulder are more glamorous options. Also the fabric looked very regular daily use material. The glitter spray will probably jazz it up a bit. You can wear a puffy petticoat underneath to puff it slightly. It will look like a ball gown.
That’s what I be saying when she makes pieces and HYPES it up like it’s gonna be the most gorgeous dress ever . Just to reveal and PLAIN AND SIMPLE DRESS !!! girl wtf
@@mindyourbusinesbro6813i think that's because she made this dress in 24 hrs or something. She is making many of her clothes in a time limit like that. May be that's why she is coming up with mediocre designs. 24 hr challenges are good for a sewing practice but they aren't crearing high fashion creative couture pieces.
Please tell me there is a pattern? I would love to make this in white for my wedding. Thank you because I've been looking for something simple, beautiful, and classic looking. I can add a glitter like you did and a removable caplet, omg!! I have been having a hard time. My ideas are either higher skilled or not exactly whay im wanting but its this!! Right here.
Lovely dress! I'd never have thought to spray glitter onto fabric! How does it wear, or wash? Also, I'm curious as to why you didn't go with a Regency silhouette?
It looks like an 80's Gunne Sax dress with boning added, not a Regency era dress, or anything before the 1980s. That combination of elements doesn't really make sense, especially for something with a defined era, but it was a pretty dress and if you felt confident, then that's what matters.
I wish I had known about spray on glitter back in the early 90s when glitter covered jeans were popular because I would get so disappointed when the glitter washed off after 1 wash ! 😡
