What a difference a lightened brick wall makes to a room. My vintage boho living room space has gone through another round of DIY's and renvation and I think the result is absolutely amazing. I also pop by a thrift shop in today's video and buy some pieces for my autumn wardrobe. I hope that you enjoy.

Put your TV cabinet on legs, that way you can be comfortable watching your TV. The living room is perfect! And I honestly mean that! All your hard work and vision have paid off! It’s going to be the perfect space for all the coming winter coziness! The mirror is the perfect touch! You are creating your own little world and you should definitely celebrate that.

Yes! My thought was to find or build a rectangular “cabinet” -paint it in either same color or accent color to raise the TV cabinet. The lower rectangular cabinet could be same width and possibly an inch larger length, but only about 6 inches high or so. Lower rectangular cabinet could even have a door to keep what is inside not seen. That would add storage and bring up the height of the TV cabinet.

The room looks cozy and inviting. I love the red brick wall originally, but the lime wash makes the room much brighter. So well done on a good choice. In general, I love your little house. What a lovely difference. It brightens and warms the room all at the same time. I know lots of people are in the camp that you should never paint brick or wood but sometimes the original color is just a distraction.

I love the addition of the flowy, ethereal curtains. It's just another luscious layer of comfort and beauty in the already beautiful room. A personal painting on the living room wall will be delightful! It's a very comfortable room...I GET it. I can't tell you how much I love that white washed brick wall. It's made such a difference. Here's an idea. You can add legs to the TV cabinet that are 5 cms higher than the ones you have. You would remove the existing legs. All around. There are many options for legs.

I love everything you did. The whitewash on the brick wall was a brilliant idea! Just one suggestion, place a old wooden crate by the door where the black candle stand is to place shoes in when you come inside. Maybe put the candle stand somewhere along the brick wall. I can imagine your big mirror leaned against the bricks on the left side, and a big original Elise painting on the right, with a big plant in between and something else underneath the painting. Possible shelf or sideboard with a lamp, plants, and thrift finds ? I love to see your ideas and how your home is in constant evolution.

Maybe a chuncky mantle with a big horizontal mirror on the brick wall. Candles of different heights to reflect off the mirror for fall 🍁 and winter ❄️ coziness. If you turn the couch to face the tv, the two brown chairs can face each other on the sides of the couch. Nice seating group.

I love the result. I think the only thing I would change personally is the couch placement. I would put it up against the brick wall. I just think it would open up the space to your dining area as well. Just a suggestion thought 😊

Club plants together on window sill including that rubber plant on the floor and put crystal lamp on left or the candelabra in the middle on table in middle of room. Looks better but still not there. Those 2 armchairs you said you would get for a castle - get them for that room - they would look better than the smaller ones there which are more like bedroom chairs. The end window needs something to block out darkness at night and give you privacy.

Each time I watch your videos I get such a sense of nostalgia - take's me back to when I was a young boho girl in the 70's. I'm really enjoying the guitar music that accompanies these videos as well. Consider hanging a large tapestry on your brick wall - even a large piece of fabric that you love. They make special types of wooden hangers to suspend the fabric/tapestry from. Another idea would be a set of 3 pictures/panels that goes together (Triptych).

Bigger basket for cushions or throws near french doors. Two big armchairs definitely and get rid of small chair into bedroom. That will make a huge difference and lots of candles on the table and maybe some big cushions to mirror the sofa colour on the window sill?

The wall turned out beautifully! Discovering that the TV would fit in the green cabinet is a big bonus! Everything looks so pretty. It is so hard to hang thinks on brick I would probably use that lovely mirror to break up the brick space and do a new picture wall in the dining area. But I’m picture wall obsessed at the moment. You have created some pretty art. What about vetting something enlarged into a big picture on a canvas? That might be fun!

It looks gorgeous Elise. Very well done. Major payoff for the effort. If you ever wanted a window behind where your dining table was, I know your house is brick so that can be expensive to install and I'm unsure if on the other side of the wall it's just the next house or fence? But in my old place there was a long window at the top of the wall that was about 4ft wide and 1ft tall. It let in the most tremendous light because it was at the top of the wall and I could see the sky instead of whatever was directly outside. You are making such a cozy home. 🥰

I had the same situation for my tv and my PC computer. I didn't want my tv in the living room and my tv is small. So it sits inside a black bookcase where it blends in with the bookcase and doesn't visually call attention to itself. I wanted my PC in the living room, but hidden when not in use. So I got a desk armoire which is similar to your cabinet. It has room for everything and I can close the doors and it looks like a cabinet and all my stuff is hidden. People have been hiding their TVs in cabinets or armoires for a while, but now they hide their sewing and art supplies as well and it is a great idea to hide the stuff when you are not using it and don't want it showing. Your lucky your tv just fit. Good idea!

It's so lovely.😊 Warm and inviting. As I've gotten older, the colors you love have become favorites. My mom was a lover of what she called earth tones, fall was her favorite season. As is mine...darker, rainy, cloudy days. Spent inside with a good book or movie, and something yummy to eat...maybe a vanilla oatmilk, topped with nutmeg and cinnamon...steam drifting up to warm my face and tickle my nose. Or just sitting near a window, as the rain beats against my window. Lost in the drops running in tiny steams down my window pane, watching the ripples on the puddles in the garden. Sigh...in love with nature. Oh and when the trees turn, a walk in the chilly air, face lifted to a blue sky, leaves flying and dancing in the air and on the ground. Oh I do love fall!

❤ My dear I had the same issue with my tv in the cabinet . It was just a wee bit too low. Simple solution, put something underneath it to raise it up. I used 2 old dvd players but I know you could use your imagination to find anything. Maýbe some books 📚 or a thick piece of plywood painted black ⚫, or something from your garden supplies...the possibilties are endless . I think another thrifting trip is just around the corner! 😊I love the bew brick wall. Watch some german-schere videos because you could go even whiter if you'd like. It looks so, so beautiful! What an upgrade. Wow I love your style. I agree with the other comments that suggest to put your couch along the brick wall - mostly because it’s such an INCREDIBLE COLOR and you can only really experience it when standing at the windows, looking in toward your dining area. If you put it along the wall, it would catch all that beautiful sunshine instead of being a shadow in the center of the room. Plus it would help the flow and actually invite you further into the room as opposed to stopping you in the middle!

I totally love the brick wall, moving the green cabinet over and converting it to a TV Cabinet and all the other things you’ve done to your house to make it your own. You are so talented.

I hope you keep the chair floral chair on the brick wall side instead of in the middle of the room. I always thought….why does she have it there? The walls look so much lighter👊🏻 You’re doing a beautiful job!
