Hey man love the content, how exactly did you get the 8.8 rear in your car? Did you just swap the entire live axel from a gt or just put in different gears in the v6 live axel?
I wonder how the DNA catback would sound with this setup? I had it on my 2V that I had and it was honestly one of the best sounding setups I’d heard and loved it, I’m not really a huge chambered muffler guy so that’s why, and this sounds great for what it is, but curiosity is getting to me. Maybe I’ll have to get a v6 stang of my own to play with lol

What kinda clutch would you recommend for drifting ? It’s time to swap the clutch n throw out bearing but I’m trying to find something good probably stage 2 for now or a decent priced stage 3

Pretty much. 99-04 Gt's should all have 3:27s from the factory. The Mach 1 has 3:55s. 94-98 8.8s will also fit 99-04 but they are 3in narrower and you have to enlarge the lower control arm bolt holes.
You don't need an x pipe for the V6. If you need the looks and sound of dual exhaust then do like he did and keep your y pipe and get a y pipe back dual exhaust. American Muscle, Jeg's and Summit sell them. The first mods I would do are a tune, gears w/lsd and 1.8 roller rockers, with roller rockers being first. After that I'd port the lower intake and if I wanted more I'd port the heads, especially on the exhaust side. If I wanted to go further I'd go with a cam. There is a website with a calculator you can use to figure out if your car needs dual exhaust, going by a combination of cubic inches and horsepower. Our engines when naturally aspirated make nowhere near anything requiring dual exhaust.
