No idea if you tried it in the end or not (still halfway through the video) but trilinear filtering is designed to increase the quality of textures in the distance (which would fix the line issue you were seeing). It uses a separate texture for distant rendering and blends between the two reducing that vaseline effect people were complaining about 😁
Okay so I talked to my dad who worked in warehousing/trucking for years about the weigh stations. He was actually the traffic manager/dispatch guy for Smarties Candy for years. The weigh stations are important to check that the trucks aren't overweight and that the weight is balanced properly. Front to back and left to right. I imagine a truck with all the weight to one side or all in the front could cause some nasty accidents
Love these xp streams! This is one that my sister and I used to ALWAYS rent from pur library and it was such an event when we finally beat it one of those times! Thanks for the streams and the VODs!
As horrifying as those 3D models of SpongeBob and Patrick were, it was an enjoyable game. I would of loved it if I played it back when it came out. Also glad to have some Chilltruck. I really needed some Chilltruck.
i'm so happy you went back to spongebob! also meant to say this a few vods ago but i hope you'll consider syberia for a 2ish-stream story game at some point, it seemed really interesting when you unboxed it
May I ask how you made this work on a modern computer? Because a few weeks ago I saw this exact game in a charity shop and was tempted to get it but the thought of not knowing how to make it run on a modern computer plagued me too much to actually buy it 😅
I'm running this on an actual Windows XP machine! I'm not sure how you'd get it to run on a modern PC, honestly... you might have to look into virtual machines if that's what you want to do.
Just checked with my disc copy on Win 10, wasn't able to get it to boot. PC Gaming Wiki says to just keep trying until it eventually starts, but I gave up after trying about 30 times. Your best bet is a virtual machine or actual Windows XP, I guess.
