I think my favorite thing about Roquefort is the mislead. In the first part of the level, you fight a samurai robot chef, and then when you walk in his office it's nothing but Samurai armor and Japanese inspired architecture. So you might be thinking his robot enhancements are of the MGR variety. And then he transforms... into a robot werewolf. It's great.

Funny to think how that one specific text collectible about a Robot making the coffee machines serve decaf as a revenge ended up having mentions in Stage 4 (Korsica) and the final Stage (Kale) That one smalm detail... I watched many gameplays so I thought it was a small joke but never seen a gameplay that found that note so I never knew the context... now that I know it... it makes more sense

Y'know just cuz of the "Need a backup job just in case this doesn't work out" makes me feel a bit hopeful that there will be HFR 2 in the future, cuz knowing chai's attitude, being an ambassador might be too boring for him since even though he's an ambassador, he still might have a lot of paperwork and schedules to attend to, and knowing chai I think those kinda stuff aren't his strong suit and kindly step down in the future for a new story xD

I’m watching this right after beating the game for the first time. This has gotta be my third or maybe second favorite game of all time. It’s so good!!!

Personally I prefer the licensed music. Fits the game better since it's a literal music player in his heart. Really makes it feel like we're listening to a Spotify Playlist. Not only that a lot of the music is adjusted to fit the fame for example free radicals. Plus NOTHING beats Whirring and Invaders Must Die. Those are my 2 favorite parts of the game. Not to say the original music is bad it's actually great and a lot of it is on par with the licensed I just prefer the former.

As much as I think that having a streamer mode was a good decision, and that the original songs aren't bad, I REALLY wish she played that final level with the OG music on. It plays "Whirring" by The Joy Formidable, and it was a peak choice, I had never felt that powerful playing a game before.

Sort of bummed that Peppermint "likes" Korsica over Chai, but on the other hand, the Shenpai×Chai is possible now. Lol

This game is bloody amazing. I recall last episode someone compared it to Forspoken? I don't know what that is (Nor do I care based off of reviews I've heard), but Hi-Fi Rush strikes me more as a rhythmic Devil May Cry. You've got insane combo potential, and Chai is pretty much Nero but dummy stupid. Also there's a variety of videos where DMC players play HFR. P.S In the event it managed to slip by you: Peppermint started moving closer to Korsica before Chai dropped in at 1:59:28. SAS

Roquefort might be the second "worst" boss to me. Sure he's not Zanzo who you can barely call a boss but Roquefort was absolutely confusing. He has three phases that are... kinda the same tbh, His defeat is... WTF levels of bs (but still kinda funny), and his fights slow down as soon as he reverts to his human form. The only thing that saves him is his *sheer, unapologetic, absurdity.* He's literally an evil, furry, werewolf banker with a Scrooge McDuck coin room. And his transformation is cool.
