Ciao Davide, grazie per il video :) Vivo a Helsinki da qualche anno e non vedo l'ora di percorrere le tracce South by cycle appena finisce l'inverno. Sono passato da quelle parti in direzione opposta a luglio, prima della presentazione del progetto. Ho viaggiato da Helsinki fino al lago Saimaa e poi tutto a nord fino a Rovaniemi. I thought in a book I read years ago, Finland was a bit boring, flat with endless miles of pine trees. Things got far more exciting in Norway, but yeah looks like nice off road cycling.
Who said it's not pleasent? Did you try? Most of your body weight sits already on the back wheel so front loading it's a better way to balance weight distribution on the bike. It give you better handling and control of the bike on dirt, gravel and sad, also better when climbing.
Ciao Joao! No gimbal, most of the videos are with the gopro7 with a chest-mount but when it got colder this winter I started to mount it on the handle bar.
Actually I just checked better and it was middle of October. I only did it till Helsinki as you can see in the videos. It's an enjoyable ride you will surely like it too. As per May to be honest I am not too familiar with the weather in the region, try to check the stats of the last few years. I would personally avoid it if they forecast rain the whole time but I'm a wussy!
