@@TemporaryJ I'd think you'd wouldn't be saying that if there wasn't a betrayal. plus the betrayal makes his characters story better. uncle vs nephew.
Yeah and his choice kind of ruined the story. Him going to ww2 could’ve made him like Michael Corleone. The youngest brother who’s even more ruthless than the original leader but yeah he’s not a great actor like al Pacino either. Instead they made a stupid storyline of him getting kicked out of the family and gave Tommy a long lost son.
He’s actually not bad as an actor. Really did a swell job if this many ppl dislike him cuz of the character- fictional character, that he portrayed. It’d be cool if all the og actors n actresses were in the movie
Yet again failing Tommy's test to see If you'd do the film .... all right then Finn, this time for real you're no longer part of this Shelby family by the order of the peaky f****** blinders !
Egos with actors are interesting because the success of that show gave him that confidence to not need it but he didn’t really contribute to the success of the show he benefited from just being able to play a doughty kid
The show didn't offer him much, it didn't give him access to a main role so you have to respect that he wants to move on and try new opportunities that might help him progress further in his career.
To the people that are slagging Harry off for this, He did a more recent interview again discussing potentially returning as Finn and said he would love to, but just wants to wait like 5 years to have the opportunity to explore other roles and projects and no be type cast, but he did say he would love to come back and do a film, just not yet.
So you telling me when Finn is just about to finally get his villain arc in the show for a season 7 film, an he dont wanna do it now? Bro giving up at the wall he was about to break.... Sad
They mad. They mostly seem to think the actor is the reason why the character he plays is bad even though he isn’t one of the folk who wrote the show lmao. If he don’t want to come for the movie then fair enough. I completely see where’s he’s coming from. Peaky Blinders is pretty much the only thing he’s done. He wants to lengthen that list of characters on his resume before too long or else he’ll be typecast as a gangster. It’ll be harder for him to get roles for characters who aren’t gangsters
I love how people act like they have a say in other people's career choices. It's neither stupid or selfish of him to quit the show. Mind your own damn business.
If he doesn't want to be in it he probably wasn't asked. Became a traitor in the storyline so for the movie he could have run away in hiding, disappeared or it could open at his funeral. FOOLISH if he turned it down
You'd think with as much as people hated Finn on the show, they'd welcome him to walk away from the movie...based off these comments, that's way off 😂😂😂
There ain’t no way he’s serious… they set him up to play revenge against Duke??? Pretty sure he’s just doing it for media cuz ain’t no way he can’t do one more movie that will finish a legacy show and film off.
I really did expect them to develope Finn a bit more than they did... maybe having him join micheals betrayal would've been better for the character?? Who knows but i see the rivalry between him and Tommy's new son being one of the stories of the film
He said he doesn’t want to do it for obvious reasons. How does being casted in the biggest role of your life in your mid twenties obvious? He’s most likely just hurt because of how his character betrayed Thomas Shelby. In my opinion Finn has potential to continue the Shelby story. Maybe he becomes even more ruthless then Thomas Shelby
Yeah I can totally understand him. The question is if they would give his character a development in the film. Finn was always there but because he was just always there and basically did nothing, it is understandable if he don't want to return
@@benny_lam yeah and early on its not like finns character wasnt down to do what tommy Arthur and John did but tommy or arthur would always stop him or make him stay back so no wonder he ended up how he did. He could've turned into the young savage of the family but it went the opposite way.
People in the comments gettin mad as shit but tough titties. It’s his call not yours. I completely understand why he doesn’t want to do it because he doesn’t want Finn to be the only thing he’s ever know for. He doesn’t want to become typecast. He’s worried that there’s a chance that every time he additions for a role, he’ll be much less likely to get it if the character isn’t a runt gangster. Good on him. He played an excellent and entertaining character and I’m glad he’s choosing to do what’s best for him and his career.
This is not what’s best for his career, he’s been in 4 movies/shows, with peaky blinders being the most well known, and the other being a kids netflix movie, and 2 much smaller films, one not even having come out yet. He’s going to get type cast anyways because the main thing that he’s been in, is a gangster show and a loose sequel from shark boy and lava girl. Nobody said anything about it not being his choice, but what he chose was not the best option.
Same as John he left because didn’t like being in the shadow of Tommy and wanted to be main character where is he now ? Cillian has since does 2 major movies
Clown in the show, clown in real life. They should have given the role to someone who wants and deserves it. Never seen this guy before, never seen him since. He think he’s a star or something? 🤡
It's not like he was the bloody writer they kinda wrote him like that and if he didn't agree they probably would've offed him by way of the changrettas or billy. Ffs mate actors aren't they're actual characters get a grip.
More like he don't like he's gonna end up just like Michael. Bet if he had a sort of enforcer role like Arthur he'd be like fuck yeah I'm all in. Kids these days fr
