From what I have gathered foxes make pretty awful pets for most people because of 2 reasons. 1) they pee of everything, all the time. 2) they are extremely active at night.
Comes with the territory of owning a fox. You can’t potty train them so most get them used to pet diapers. Just like getting a weasel and not expecting it to always smell awful.
@@corncob4627 from what I hear that’s just what it is to own a fox, they mark a lot and you can’t really stop them - they’re intelligent but minimally trainable 😅 hence why 99% of people shouldn’t get a pet fox
@@Mothromance So they stay wild? I noticed he also snipped at him and he acted like that was normal. If it's going to pee on everything and try to bite me when I try to take something from it, it's too wild for me.
Cat territorial noises: *[demonic hisses of seething hatred]* Dog territorial noises: *[growling]* Fox territorial noises: *[literally the cutest thing]*
@@MangoMagica Thats odd. I have the reverse- a half maincoon mix (cat hardware), but she acts like a dog in that she wants to be constantly touched (dog software). Every other cat I've met, basically didnt want to be touched (much).
@@milesmatheson1142 That's every Mane Coon, Forrest Cat, and Rag Doll in existence. My (I think rag doll or mane coon mix) is the sweetest animal I've encountered, but he's equally annoying with how needy and attention seeking he is. He's downright aggressive when demanding pets and cuddles. It's amusing to see my Tabby trying to screw with him. Once my mix has enough of the annoyance he body slams the tabby and calmy walks away.
Just love Finny n you have a amazing awesome home give Funny a hug here people heartless been killing our Wolf's what you have is a God spent peace n GOD bless he whine n put a smile on my heart bless you all
@@jagpilotohio i was saying he's adorable but not because of the fact he peed on the pillow, tho i would have put him outside maybe or train him not to do that lol
@@moonwalker8391 unfortunately he’s compelled by an urge to “mark” his space around him. I had a cat once that simply could not be trained to not mark interior doors and some walls. She was simply compulsive about it. Obsessed. Unbelievably frustrating.
@@jagpilotohio well then i would keep him outside for future reference if it was me and i couldn't train him. Not blaming him for peeing but im also not excusing or making an excuse or anything
😂 That's why my mother didn't allow pets in the house. They would just have their mini house in the backyard and be able to pee and poop anywhere, without ruining furniture.
The glove is close to little Finny's heart because it's from daddy ❤️🧸I could see it in his eyes. He got sad when you wanted your glove back. His eyes even welled up a bit. It seems that sometimes when foxes steal, it's out of love.
I know Finn's trying to sound threatening and all, but he legit sounds like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum. Proof that, when it isn't being absolutely terrifying, nature is truly beautiful.
@@98loud the reason they are so ‘ugly’ is because they are literally dead when taken from their natural habitat, their insides explode, making them look the way they do on the outside.
@@BedCat1432 you can't really compared that though, dog pee would smell like literal heaven in comparison to fox pee. It is notorious for having a nasty smell
I love Finnegan so so much! His eyes, his antics, the way he tried to fend off Ethan with his paw, and that child like whine. Definitely makes my day better
@@seife41 please look up domestication syndrome, your the type of person that REALLY need to grasp that shit before stating the obvious while somehow also being objectively wrong in their understanding of how basic evolutionary adaptation also applies to...ho, I dunno, the PLANET? What other amazing insights do you have? Is water wet?
“Can I please have my glove back?” Finnegan: *Whimpers* “But I’m poor…I don’t own anything sir!” “I guess it’s your glove now huh?” Finnegan: *Munches glove in victorious silence*
Do you guys own washing machines? Also there are plenty of products to use for pet urine. They makes tons of money off of this fox and are able to afford something that cheap.
@@marshalwhite1715 While yes, that would fix a normal pets urine from making everything smell, fox urine not only has a stronger smell than usual, but also clings to stuff like glue. In other words, it would be more efficient to just replace the item that was urinated on instead of washing it for weeks.
The duality of having a fox at home I guess. Fun moments where you fight for who get ownership of a glove. But also catching said fox red handed peeing on your pillow xD
They understand that foxes, no matter how adorable they can be, are still wild animals and will remain wild animals. I've seen so many videos of the foxes peeing in the house - it's a sacrifice they're gladly making, I suppose.
Everyone is the comments: "Awe he's so adorable!" Me: There's a reason he isn't reaching for the glove or trying to pet the fox lmao. Dang thanks for the likes everyone! Most I've ever had!
