Happy Anniversary! My husband and I celebrated our57th anniversary on the 16th of June. Sadly, he passed away a week later unexpectedly, but how lucky were we to get so many years! Be sure to take a rest after the yarn event. You don’t want to get sick again.

So jealous that you have so many festivals. There are none in my immediate area. I may have to start traveling if finances ever permit...

It's a pattern I had gotten years ago at ,... Michaels Store,. Here in Louisiana..😁. It's a back and forth pattern on circular needles... It has only 2- colors to this blanket.. Happy midsummer! It has been over 38° C In Tennessee for it feels like 3 weeks so I have been overheated and doing very little. I have a ranaculas on needles in ribbon yarn for my sister and a muscleberg type hat for my son in bamboo. Both yarns are challenging!!!! I am glad you are back. You inspire me to power thru! With this weather I appreciate the winter and visaversa.

I knitted an Alpine Bloom for a granddaughter with 100% linen! Came out beautiful! Have Midsommar Tee (Caitlyn Hunter again!) on needles with an aran linen blend. Congrats…keep celebrating 🎉

Currently winter here South Australia. Sunny but cold as! Knitting "Born on the Beach" lace dress for our trip to hot Egypt/Jordan. Not a very well written pattern. As translated into English. Love Peonie flowers but only grow in mountainous colder climate in Australia.

I have finally started the Blomstring Slipover by Fiber Tales. It's been extra cold here this week in Tasmania, Australia. I just can't seem to warm up.

I'm late in watching this week's episode because I was saving it for a little holiday that I've gone on with my parents. Just having a quiet rest morning in my little cabin and watching your podcast while knitting on my Este top, and to me that's the perfect holiday 😂 I'm so happy you got a little break last week when your husband took you away to the cottage. I'm sure that will have done you good. Also happy you get to have your mum with you too for a bit ❤ Hope all goes well with the knit festival and you get a lovely long break and time to relax after! We have had a pretty miserable summer in the UK so far - we also had about 3 days of hot, sunny weather, then the rest has hardly even made it to 18⁰! But means I get to enjoy my knitted shawls longer, so can't really complain 😂

Love the salty air tee and the yarn look very nice. Today I'm wearing a new sweater Brännö in drops Belle it feels "marine style" off white with garter stripes in navy blue and a boat neck together with linnen trousers. I'm knitting my second mingling daisies shawl for my sisters colleague and the houndstooth jacket is slowly progressing. I wish to go and see you at a yarn festival.. sometime. I have never been to Finland before and it's about time. Wasa is not far to go to with a ferry. Don't stress to much it sound like too much work. Be kind to yourself. ❤

did you get caught up in the knitting of the moomin socks a few years ago, a podcaster i recently watched bought a book of moomin socks and Novita moonin yarn, i love the moomin characters. i have a few of the mugs. i was curious about the socks. your sweater in low contrast is pretty. take time after your yarn festival i hope you do a big sale of your beautiful yarn.

Lovely to share my Sunday morning with you again. Peony is my favourite flower as well, my Dad had two bushes in front of our door, both pale pink and they always bloomed for my birthday, beginning of June. I love both of your summer tops, I think I might just get knitting for our coming summer. My beloved husband passed just before our 58th anniversary. Crochet and knitting have been a sanity saver. Hi Jana, If you cut a peony bud and wrap it in a wet paper towel. And but it in thr refridgerator, you can take it out weeks later, put in a vase of water and it will bloon nicely.

29.4 today after heavy rain,so humid! Was looking for something, found 2 unfinished sweaters,no idea what patterns, can't find green to finish 1/3 of sleeve. Frustrated but glad don't have a job anymore.in Illinois peonies were a full month ago,now eating raspberries, apricot,plums and hoping ground hog leaves squash alone, not sure what came up on compost.
