Nice reaction! My introduction to Taemin was through Criminal (OMG) and you are right--I found SHINee by watching everything Taemin had done. SHINee is my most favourite group ever, and Taemin is my Ultimate Bias! 34 more days till he is back...
Criminal is amazing, and it's really great to hear about people finding Taemin and being just charmed. I figured I had to get us to at least do Move before he comes back because I feel like with his workaholic style and forced time off stage he's going blow our minds very quickly after re-entering the industry.
I first found SHINEE in 2020 nd then through them got in TAEMIN solo...even though I'm newer in some way...but ultimate group is SHINEE...all members are bias but JONGHYUN is my ult....nd my fav TAEMIN mv is IDEA & ADVICE...for Japanese FAMOUS & SAYONARA HITORI mv...plzz do react to these

Sayonara Hitori is my favourite Japanese song and Famous choreo just displays Taemin's dance skills like no other. We gotta do some SHINee too and I feel like we have to start from older songs so Jonghyuns wonderful voice and appearance is established as part of SHINee.
I would say that for Taemin's "Move" it's supposed to be androgynous and sexy. The whole concept is supposed to be gender neutral. As mentioned, early in his career -- he debuted in 2008 when he was 14 years old -- when Taemin was growing up in SHINee he was known for his feminine look. The industry thought it was novel and cute to play up his feminine features. Which ended up giving him a real complex about the fact that people never saw him as a masculine man. It took him a long time to accept that he was known for his looks and to come to terms with the fact that everyone thought of him as a "pretty boy," etc. So, at this point in his career as a 24 year old (He is 29 now) he was trying to make a statement about how he has now come to terms with just being himself and not caring what people think. Dancing is art and movement has no gender. "Move" features all female dancers because the whole point of the song and dance is supposed to be about crossing gender boundaries and how just because you are male doesn't mean your dance has to be hyper masculine. Taemin uses what is traditionally considered more feminine dance moves to show how you can merge both feminine and masculine styles together to create something that can't be singled out as one gender or the other. This dance allowed a more mainstream audience to start to embrace less traditional gender roles within Kpop. This is one of Taemin's most famous choreographies and it has become the dance he is most recognized for.This dance has inspired what is known as the "Move disease," and it is said that the dance is so catchy that you can't help but try to imitate it. There are literally hundreds of videos online of people attempting cover dances to this song. (It is on the level of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance and some of the most famous TiK Tok dance challenges.) But no matter how good of a dancer they are, it is quickly apparent that there is just something about the way Taemin moves that can't be duplicated. Taemin is Taemin and there is no one else like him. The dance is never as sharp or precise as the way Taemin does it. That is why he is hands down considered one of the top two BEST dancers in the industry. As Taemin has said numerous times in interviews and on variety shows, the key point in "Move's" choreography is literally supposed to be to stare into the camera like you are trying to seduce the person who is watching. So, you are right, that is exactly what Taemin is doing.

Taemin is also my ult bias. In fact he's my only bias in all of kpop. I try not to limit myself. Ha ha. Move was the first kpop video I ever watched, and it blew my mind. I have Taemin to thank for my love of kpop music, and that's why he's my bias. I love his Japanese songs, Goodbye, Under My Skin, etc. The videos are artistically beautiful, and you are right to call him elegant. I'm glad I found your channel today.
Taemin is so stylish and so artful that he makes an impression in a different way even if the industry is full of talented people. Can't wait to get to he Japanese songs, they have such unique flair! Goodbye is probably close to the top favourite song/MV for me, but that of course changes every day. I love it how you presented Taemin to your friend - you gave all the right information and pointed out just the right things to give her an idea of who he is and not overwhelm her with too much info :) Taemin is my ultimate and only bias in whole K-pop. In that sense I consider myself a solo stan and I just know it will never change. Through him I discovered SHINee and later on started following SuperM, but as much as I like and respect both groups and their members I have a true love in my heart only for one person and that person is Taemin. My favorite MVs (apart from Move, which I absolutely love) are Want, Criminal and Advice. Favorite songs - it would be really hard to name them all, there’s just so many… :)

I felt like I could have talked about him endlessly but I needed to not overwhelm Kay straight away, and we have so many Taemin and SHINee songs to watch that I'll get to more stuff later, best not to confuse her and let her enjoy the song&MV. My favorite Taemin song is "WANT". It was the 3rd song I heard/watched. A few seconds in and I was hooked. It fits my musical taste perfectly and the video is a visual masterpiece. I'm fairly new to Kpop too. I was watching "The Unit" because of idol-gone-actor Lee Jun Young, when I came across Taemin. As he was already in the military at that time I can't wait for him to be back in the Kpop world.

We probably will watch a little. I feel like Jopping is a must-see even for memes and I do remember liking Tiger Inside and We Do. Probably need to show some EXO songs first though, so Kay is on the same line as me, because I really only pay attention to Taemin and EXO boys...
Hi, nice reaction, ty. I am a new Taemin bias. i am 40yo now. Got into him last year. Still trying to watch the MVs and listen to his music. I also looked more into Shinee. Love all the guys. Sayonara Hitori is my fav song. Move is my 2nd fav. I love a lot of this songs actually. But there are a few that are not my cup of tea like Danger. Loved some of his look in the MV but the whole song was not catchy to me as a whole. He is such a monster. Love his dancing and vocals and look. I am actually Jimin ult bias, Suga wrecker OT7. After vibe came out I looked into Taeyang some. And during that process I recalled Jimin was inspired by Taemin too. I am aware they are friends. So to learn more about Jimin I looked into Taemin. And watching Move I fell in love. That was like 6-7 months ago. Sayonara Hitori I heard a cover of by &Audition during their competition show. And the feels my gosh. After i was like i need to hear the original. I love it and it's my fav from him. He has so many great songs. He explores a lot and it's fascinating to watch. Conheci o Taemin vendo outros idols reagindo a coreografia de Move. Entrei em um poço sem fundo. Faz 1 ano e meio e só escuto Taemin e Shinee! Conheço toda a discografia dele, do Shinee e solo de todos os integrantes do Shinee... A primeira música que ouvi dele foi Move, mas minha preferida é Under my Skin, pela letra, pela melodia, o jeito que ele canta, toda a modulação da voz, o instrumental é incrível, como todas as músicas deles são❤... I agree with the comment. In American culture, when you say someone is "gay", you are making a statement about his/her sexual orientation. No ShiNee member has ever discussed that. Better to say, "Taemin has an androgynous approach in many of his songs "
