This is simply beautiful... Fiona is so emotionally sensitive in her vocals, whether she needs to express acidic anger or soothing, healing love. I love her connection to the woman next to her, and the music is holding them in that special space even with the little interruptions. So beautiful.
Not here to judge, we all have shit going on in our lives. What matters is the music, and my god is Fiona's voice incredible. She's a grown woman, let her take care of herself and just enjoy this once in a generation talent.
please dont be upset with people concerned with her weight. shes struggled with eating disorders before (she said this herself) and people who have already been through it often relapse. much love to fiona and this amazing song, hope she was and is well 💜

Fiona suffers from conditions of situational depression, generalized anxiety disorder (inc anxiety/panic attacks), & situational PTSD stemming from trauma as a child (which NO ONE on this or in ANY other public forum/social media BS site - anonymously or in any other fashion - should attempt to reference, as you have no fucking clue as to the myriad of ACTUAL facts & HER truths of HER PERSONAL LIFE - positive or negative - from birth to present, 1/31/24. this just made me cry... and I really don't cry easily... Fiona just has the ability to do that with the unbelievable sentiment she brings to her music. I just loved the last show I was able to attend in October. It was extremely powerful. Love.

excuse me for people who are saying oh maybe she's that skinny. No. she's not that skinny because she wasn't even that skinny in the Criminal Video when she was 18 or 19. I think most of the people who are pointing out her weight are not doing it because they are judging her or being vain or critical or superficial. If they are true Fiona fans, its genuine concern. If I saw my sister walking around the house and she seemed to me to be unhealthy I wouldn't think, 'oh it's her life, let me leave her alone' I would say something. I actually could not finish watching this video because of how hurt I am seeing her like this, I even cried a little bit. I just wish her all the best and I hope she is back to her healthy self very soon because a world without Fiona would be that much less wonderful.
Dear MayI know that your comment was over five years ago. I am a gigantic Fiona Apple fan. I have been listening to her since 1996 .I 2 cried a little bit and felt so much compassion for her she is shrinking away or was. I know she's a very private person and I'm wondering if she's suffering from anorexia or bulimia. It doesn't matter though I will always be one of her biggest fans. And I hope she's doing better. And I think that I seen a video of her recently and she looks much more healthier and got the weight back on. She hit the scene as this waif with model good looks, who just happened to be incredibly talented. Well, now we've got her, not pretty, not glamorous, not ideal. Not commercial but more amazing than ever. I applaud that she keeps it real. But let's keep the 'real', shall we? There are children in United Way commercials who look healthier than this. They are starving to death, diseases eating away at them. Nobody says 'leave them alone, they're beautiful', because they are in dire need of medical attention. Fiona Apple is clearly engaged in some kind of self-destructive behavior. I can't imagine no one in her family or circle of friends hasn't staged some kind of intervention. But ultimately, she's an adult and no one can make her improve her health. She has to want it.
She reminds me of my mom where if there's any sort of stress in her life she loses weight. It could simply be that Fiona's been dealing with stress. So it may be self-destruction or her body not dealing with external and internal stressors healthily.
Yeah she's definitely malnourished if you look at her thinning hair line that's a dead give away (other than her weight and looking older than she should)

I read somewhere that after she was raped, she was afraid of ever being hit on by guys and being that naturally she's quite a "curvy" girl she didn't want anyone to find her attractive. She lost weight in order for guys to not have anything to grab hold of...really really sad, but I think she's just a troubled lady. A very talented troubled lady. God bless her

I don't think there is anything wrong with being thrown off by her appearance. There is nothing wrong with being thin if it's natural for your body and you are healthy...but we all know she's struggled with it before, so I am just worried, as most of us would be. So I am not going to pretend I wasn't thrown off by that. As long as she's healthy, I'm happy. And as always, her work is spectacular... :)

Fiona has struggled with eating disorders since she was a teen...she got well for awhile there, but I'm sad to see that she relapsed. It's okay for people who care to be concerned.

People who are sensitive or emotional generally age faster, but what's gotten really ugly is that people comment more on Fiona's appearance than on her latest album, which is brilliant. Same on my Tori Amos channel, did Tori have plastic surgery and did she fix her teeth... I know we as fans notice these things and maybe think that we have the right to "care" but I don't see it being for anyone's gain, ours or the artist's.

i’m here on my 16th birthday because this is one of my favorite videos ever, so much comfort i get from her and her music. Thank you fiona apple for speaking to me in a way no one else could.
I've been following her since she came out. I was 14. She's been with me through so much. If she held my hand and sang to me I'd probably die 😂 I feel like her music understands me to such depth that no one else does. And I bet she'd be so cool to just hang out with
Her and Elliott Smith are my favorite singer songwriters, Fiona has so much anger in her music (a good thing coming from me) amd Elliott has a calming sad type of sound
