This is even worse when you remember that Anya already went through this back when she was at the lab. The scientists didn't hit her as far as we know, but they did force her to study all day and refused to let her play like a normal kid.
Yeah, she already had enough of that kind of mistreatment. Plus "Fiona" seem to think she can force both Anya and "Loid" to like/love her (respectively). Her way of thinking concerning all of this is crazy (and scary)!!
@@shadowdragonlord2295 True, but just the same Anya is obviously terrified. This may not be physical, but its still abuse! (Thankful for Anya its just a thought image!)
Fiona is a gag character and she served her purpose. I was in tears. 😂 Her “AH!” and then Anya’s blatant attempts to be like “Yeah you not getting in here” while Loid and Yor had no idea what she was doing were perfect comedy
Loid's very strict dad used to hit Loid cause he didn't wanna study and instead wanted to be a soldier, so Loid would've probably never agreed to the match it if Fiona even thought about doing that to Anya or any child.
To be fair, Loid's father isn't so bad, much better than Desmond. He is like current Loid, who understands the true nature of this war, so he doesn't want to become some mindless war tool. He was really happy despite Loid's lie back then.
@@tatinh9885 Nigga are you for real? "He wasn't that bad" What does that mean? Last time I checked beating your kids is extremely frowned upon in most cultures, what is your damage?
I know this is supposed to be a gag but gaslighting your MARRIED crush's wife and thinking of their daughter as a mere tool would be borderline criminal behavior in irl
True but it's also important to note that Fiona gets punished for this karma-wise. Her thinking of Anya as a tool immediately causes Anya to reject her; which creates a barrier for her getting into the family. Likewise her gaslighting Yor only backfires on her and causes Loid to further appreciate what Yor brings to the table. Together this reaches a pitch of Fiona hitting a new emotional low as she unintentionally pushes Loid away from her and to a better family.
1:24 Yor’s reaction when Anya said that she loves her and that she’d rather have Yor as her mother, not Fiona. And I must agree with Anya cause’ Yor is a great mother to her, despite that Anya dislikes her poor cooking….but she still loves Yor for who she is. Imagine if Fiona was a mother to Anya, I think that she’d be abusive towards the young girl, and that Anya wouldn’t call her her mother
We have to remember Anya technically hooked loid and yor together because of her telepathy. She picked her family and truly sees them as such. Not Twilight and not thorn princess; just Mama and Papa and it’s so friggin adorable.
I don't think it would have even got to marriage if he knew about this!!! We all know how protective he is about Anya (and hates anything bad happening to any kid period)!!!!
Papa, New Mama is thinking about beating learning into me. Anya go to your room and cover your ears with a pillow until I come get you. I need to go talk to Fiona.
I can’t help but think she fell in love with one Loid’s characters and has created in her mind the perfect version of- Yes Loid is putting up a character with the family…but so is everyone else. And while everyone believes this is a short time thing…I can’t help but think for once, they are being their true selves when at home…and they are coming to actually love each other. As a person who was adopted and raised by two people who more or less had a similar meeting as these two, I found this anime absolutely wholesome
Most likely the finale would be the end of the "pretent family" with them accepting they are a real family, while a war might happen and 2-3 organisations freaking out over the insane "coincedences" that lead to this family.
And if she had done that approach with Anya and had been the wife instead of Yor, Anya likely would have reacted badly due to her past and ruined the mission. No doubt she would have been replaced immediately.
I feel like Fiona would genuinely love and care for Anya just as much as Yor and be as protective, but she would probably not win the mother of the year award
She wouldn’t. She may think she would be loving and caring towards Anya, but the truth is she wouldn’t be that way at all. Yor on the other hand, despite the fact she still has alot to learn about being a housewife, would certainly be caring and gentle with Anya. And having taken experience with taking care of her younger brother is an advantage she has that Fiona doesn’t.
She is a spy and she has full of experiences in acting and undercovering. The only thing she feels genuine toward is Loid. Cos, he is her crush and spy partner.
So that scene where she was shown literally beating Anya with a whip and saying she's gonna micromanage every aspect of her life just didn't happen I guess
1:09 this is why I hate Fiona, because it worries me that the way she'll treat Anya will trigger her trauma at the lab is she forces her to study, and it will cause a traumatic and negative impact on Anya, and being a strict parent doesn't always solve anything in childcare cause every parental action will cause impacts either positive or negative
To be fair I don’t think Fiona would have lived long after hitting Anya with the whip. Yor seems to really like Anya. She hears any type of abuse coming from Fiona and Fiona will wish she was never born.
Honestly I think Nightfall would've warmed up to Anya with time, and probably would've been less strict. We see the influence she had on Loid. Who's to say she couldn't do the same for Nightfall?
Well maybe but it seems that nightfall will reinforce loid's standoffish personality since he still seems to think that this pretend family will all go away. Which would make him not want to open up. Plus yor's relationship with his brother also seems to be a bit of a factor as well since loid has never felt jealous wanting a family member before (despite wanting to kill him).
@@kristopherhayes486 We also do find out one of the main reasons that Loid likes Yor is that her caring and maternal nature reminds him a lot of his mother.
Hmm, maybe? But Fiona doesn't even love Loid, she loves Twilight. She barely even knows him and her obsessive love has more to do with how she admires him as a spy.
@@joseph86255 I mean sort of? She doesn’t seem to see him as a whole *person*, if that makes sense? She seems to see Loid purely as like “amazing wonderful awesome godly secret agent Twilight-senpai”. She doesn’t seem like she accepts or even knows that he’s a person with his own flaws and imperfections, she almost worships the idea of him.
it's a cool anime, but it's one wanting to take advantage over the other you can confirm that for this episode, when anya realized that she was going to have problems if she changed her mother she was all full of love for Yor
@@anonymousman5573 did you see the first ep or rather did you read the manga? to start anya manipulated the way to be adopted Yor needed a husband because she saw a colleague of hers arrested by the police and Loid needed a fake family to complete the mission. or did you forget about it all?
No offense Fiona, you would make a good dedicated wife for Loid. But as a mother on the hand, yeah don't think so. Especially your methods on what you're going to do to Anya
I DO feel bad for Fiona. Remember Loid taught Fiona never to show her emotions. But at the same time, I do not think she understands how Loid feels or truly ask what Loid wants. She really needs to just tell Loid how she feels first before she thinks about moving in.
Honestly, fiona's chances of ever being with loid her own fault because she keeps that poker face on 100% of the time. if she just tried to loosen up and be nice maybe she'd have a chance.
That type of girl exists in real life. Especially occur in introverted brain users girls. Because I am one of them. Most importantly, she was taught by Loid to hide her feelings all the time. She follows his advice more than enough. Even Loid feels bad for her and thinks she doesn't have to keep that poker face all the time.
The one i doesn't like about Fiona is she always think that she is right. And mocking Yor for every little things. I get that bad ass blah blah. But i'll never ever agree for her being Anya's Mom with that personality. Never.
She has no chance against yor, sure she is better at most things yor. But yor will win because she has anyas backing, a better fighter and most importantly, she is hotter.
Can anyone tell me where the outro music is from? All I know is that it is called "Unclear Relationship" by (I think) Clorinda Landis, but can't find it anywhere
Knowing that Lloyd makes a living as a spy, Anya chooses to be adopted, leads a rich life, and spends her days satisfying her curiosity. Then Anya has a duty to be a machine that earns Stella.
It's weird all these people are taking this anime at face value, like yes if you actually analyse things with a realistic POV every one in this anime is problematic.
@Jason Martinez most men do poligamy dont give a shit about that Even use religion to manipulate their wife Like "if you agree with poligamy you will granted heaven if you dont you belong to hell" But in the end most men abandon they first wife And play with the new chicks Some piece of shit (mostly man) said better poligamy than cheat (just for fucking legal sex ) In some case man remember his first wife when he was strugle or sick Heck ,one case a man become homeless back to his kids from fist wife after abandon his kids more than 20 years for new wife And he wonder why his kids hate him so much 😂
@@tamilvanan6991 Self defense is different. I’m not blindly hating this woman. She barged in because she has an unhealthy obsession with Loid, she essentially makes an effort to sabotage his mission because she’s jealous, she relentlessly attacks Yor who’s done absolutely nothing to her(she doesn’t even really seem to stop and think that hurting Yor would hurt Loid-) and seems to see Anya as little more than an accessory. “Let’s just teach the 4 year old combat skills and it will be fine, no one will question it. This isn’t a human being with wants and needs this is just a machine we put food in to get results from” would hurt Anya. She’s already been through that.
@@tamilvanan6991 She likes *Twilight*, not Loid himself. She likes the idea of this suave agent more than the person behind it. She also does openly call Anya a machine and seems to criticize Loid for having feelings regarding the family.
