Fiordland Packrafting: 3 weeks in Long Sound, South Coast 

We spent 22 days packrafting and tramping in Fiordland, New Zealand. We got dropped off by helicopter at Lake Carrick, paddled down Edwardson Sound, portaged to Preservation Inlet and paddled to the Puysegur Point lighthouse. Then we paddled up Long Sound, took a day trip to Lake Widgeon, and then did a two-day bushwhack over to the top of Lake Poteriteri. We paddled down the lake, took the trail over to Lake Hauroko, and paddled down the Wairaurahiri River to Waitutu Lodge. We then tramped the South Coast track out to Westies hut and back and exited at the Rarakau Car Park! We had an epic adventure where we met so many amazing people and got to experience Fiordland at its absolute finest.
