Fira - Santorini , Greece 4K 

I was thinking the same. We stayed there in Fira last September - Aressana hotel right opposite the museum - and this video brings back so many great memories.

Have a look at Sam Kolder and Yuri Palma videos of Santorini. Those guys are among the best worldwide filmmakers and they have shown the island in a very original way, two stunning videos

I've ordered the new Sony a6500. It's on the way to me. Anyway, you make excellent videos. I download them using Internet Download Manager and watch them later with my streamer on 4K tv.

Sharon - must recommend a trip on a Catamaran. We went on the Dream Catcher. I think it was 80 euro each inc. amazing food (beer & wine included) and had a memorable day. If you are up to it, a day on a quad bike (ATV) is great - just be careful and drive within your limits. Everywhere is so stunning, it's a small island so make sure you see all of it....buses are very cheap and frequent as well so that's another option to get around. TripAdvisor best restaurants tended to be very good but use your instincts, if you like the look of somewhere just give it a go.

I would recommend to avoid big boats, including Catamaran, and wake up early to taste some places before people coming. Santorini was so crowded when I went there, three years ago. I am very positively impressed by recent video Santorini, by Yuri Palma, because he captured (with best videomaking skill I've ever seen...) a magic atmosphere in, I believe, early hours of the days

Yes I was there in 1998 and I'm ethnic Greek. It is an active super volcano that has been reclassified on the vie scale of 7 or a super volcano. The last eruption was 1600 B.C. It has become a tourist hotspot so I imagine it's more expensive now.

I've been 3 days, suggestion: 1.stay in Fira cliff hotels(expensive but worth it) 2.get island tour(all day) 3.go for hot spring tour+volcano 4.go in august must see volcano eruption simulation(find online dates)

I'll be traveling in 1st week of sept'16 . How expensive are Fira cliff hotels (appx. per night) - your experience ? For the hot spring+volcano tour.. do i need to book in advance, online ? How about spending time on red beach or black beach..? What does island tour include..? Thanks

Fira hotels cost from 200 Euro per night, I recommended also Firostefani Hotels. If is too expensive spend at least 1-2 night than move to cheaper one, island tour need to be booked in advance online, volcano tour you can buy in old port Fira whenever you want-anytime, i recommended just visit red beach better beach to spend time is Perissa and Kamari. Island tour include , red beach,akritori ruins, perissa beach, winery, hihgest mountain/point visit, oia sunset,

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. While this place looks great for people, it doesn't look like these donkeys have much quality of life.

They are quite fine. Next time you are there..go and see how they are taken care of, and talk to the villagers. A smack on the butt is the worst thing in their lives. No predators, all the food they want, and exercise and activity, with zero abuse. Don't project your own potential behavior onto pple you haven't even talked to.
