For some reason, our annunciators (Notifier LCD-80s, both first gen) don’t have indicators, but the backlight will turn off in a trouble condition. And this was on both annunciators. There are 2. Of course now the backlights are back on.
@@KanoaDeCastro it isn’t simplex, it’s an NFS-3030 with a DVC. At the beginning of the year we several dead devices, mainly a few of the heats (which are in the science classrooms, and in mechanical rooms) and smokes that were giving invalid reply or no response.
There’s definitely no sync except from the semi syncing the devices do by themselves, you can hear when the alarm is pulled that distant alarms go off first

Love your High school! I think there's a limit for sinc, so I think there's too many divices on the system (Nacs) which makes it not sinc. But good Fire Drill!
If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you try to bring up to your school? I attempted to tell my school about some security vulnerabilities and they really didn't like that.
They put up all these Christmas decorations and paper and covered sprinkler heads, pull stations, fire, extinguishers, etc. and I was threatened by my principal after bringing it up
