What about making Valter something that can't attack, say a troubadour or a cleric? Or would that break the game because Valter is required to attack, but he can't.

You know, I wonder why the Nils sprite is still in? I thought it was Lyons dead sprite, but this is the first time I've paid attention to the dead unit in this vid.

The problem is that you can't hit him. Hack it so that Valter has to get hit.

That Sprite is of Nils from FE7: Rekka No Ken, from one of the Chapters where you have to actually defend him, since he'd worn himself out -somehow-.

Sadly, it works the other way around... The game decides if the move will even land before deciding if it's a crit.

There are plenty of method to deplete Valter's HP to zero (including devil axe backfire), but since these map events are unrelated to the battle characters, he will always stay on the map. The same if you directly codebreaker Seth's HP to zero and make him disappear, he will still appear in the cutscenes.

...I think that was actually a dead Lyon.... Ah, to heck with logic. Ninian, this is Lyon, he's Nils' new replacement. Play nice. =3
